Tents and RVs scattered seemingly at random on every single available patch of grass, including, for example, the small lawns in front of the bathroom right next to the road. A few tent sites are farther back in the woods but most are just sectioned off parts of one giant lawn/area with zero privacy. When we were there a large...

Our Miller's Landing (Seward Alaska) kayak guide, Jamie T, provided a dream come true adventure with her professional know how and outdoor skills on an overnight kayak trip into the Alaska Wilderness in Aialik Bay to view many awesome glaciers. She is such a fun, happy, free spirited, punny but attuned and ever watchful kayak guide. This trip was the...

Thanks for the feedback! Jamie has been a guide with us for a number of years, and is without a doubt one of our most valuable employees! She's always in good spirits, and her incredible attitude and effusive energy go a long way on rainy days, and on sunny days too! Thanks for the kind words Bill, we loved having...

Took the 3 hour guided kayak trip to Tunisia beach with a hike. Had two outstanding guides Rachel and Sam. The hike was beautiful. Learned a lot about Alaska, plants and fish. Used a coupon for buy one get one through Alaska tour saver book. Definitely get one before coming to Alaska. You will save a bundle!

Thanks for the kind words! Rachel and Sam were new to our staff this summer, and both did a phenomenal job. Their enthusiasm for living and working in Alaska was obvious to clients and colleagues alike, and we were very grateful to have them here. Thanks again for the positive feedback!

Not recommended, overpriced for a tatty cabin. Some staffs were really grumpy and unhelpful. Might be a better option if you are driving a RV or pitching tent. Facilities are all shared. FYI, hot shower is charged at USD$2 / min View is beautiful and if you like nature, I can see that this place can be attractive. If you...

We stayed at the MIller's Landing RV ground and it is a great backup option to Seward Waterfront Park. You get the exact same views of the mountains in the back drop but the advantage being that you can reserve your spot in advance. The overall quality was average but the views make you forget everything.

Miller's Landing is a mile from downtown Seward. The road is unpaved, but not nearly as bad as we'd read. We chose a primitive camping site in the trees, and we had space, quiet, and just a few bugs. We also tried out their kayaking opportunities. Their guides understand the local weather, and our initial trip was cancelled because of...

Hello and thank you for the kind words! We appreciate your feedback and are glad you understand the sometimes necessary decision to cancel or alter our kayaking tours for weather. Safety is our main concern, and we're glad we were still able to get you out on the water!

This could really take two reviews but will do it all in one. The RV site I stayed in was right on the beach. Yes, really just a slot with electricity, but they do have other sites in the woods with no hook up as well if you want that experience. I wanted to wake up with water in front...

We appreciate you taking the time to review us! I'm glad you were able to enjoy your view from the campground, as well as one of our kayaking tours! Seeing whales from a kayak is one of the most amazing, most humbling experiences you can have in Alaska! Thanks again!

I was visiting friends who live in Anchorage, we found a groupon for an overnight camping adventure with 2 days of kayaking. Our first night was in the cabins on Millers Landing property. The website failed to mention that while the cabin had running water, there was no hot water, so the shower was just for show, since the water...

Our group of 2 took the all day guided kayaking trip to Caines Head. Our guide overslept and was an hour late (which wasn't a big deal, but had we known, we would have appreciated the extra sleep as well haha). We are experienced flat water kayakers, so once he arrived we were cruising along in no time. The guide...

We camped on the beach at Millers Landing for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We took their charter fishing trip and had a great time, rented kayaks and the kids were out all evening. The campsite was primitive but right on the beach with a great view of Seward. We also had a great time at their poker...

“Book early and get a Resurrection Bay waterfront spot. Big Kayak trips like Ailic Bay, book in advance. Same as fishing, the person who books the boat controls what type of fishing it does. Smaller trips like kayaking to Tonsina, wait til you get there and go on a good weather day. Ask about the Pot Luck.”
