Joe was great during the booking process. We used lodging arrangements at his one cabin. Very comfortable and quite, best beds we encountered in our 3 weeks in Alaska. Great location, just a short drive to Seward. I highly recommend. We left Joe some nice salmon...More
I can highly recommend Joe Allen's water taxi service. In August 2017, my wife and I used Joe's service to take our kayak and gear from Seward to the Aialik Bay public use cabin, with a pickup seven days later at the Holgate cabin in...More

Hi, Yes, I have a porti-potty on the boat. It is private. It is for women only since men are very sloppy! lol Men handle it in the sailor fashion. Over the side! I leave it up to the customer to tip the guide. If it is 2 people a 50.00-100.00 dollar tip is nice. I expect the guide to go all out for any customers... just as I do. I also offer Zodiac trips Zodiacs go just about anywhere a kayak goes with added safety and stability. The price for the Zod trips is also a lot less than kayaking at 250.00 pp. It allows you to explore in calm waters on your own. All needed safety equip. is included including a radio. Hope this helps... Best... Joe PS You can see what my customers think of me and my trips google Joe Allen Alaska
