This is not a bad place to stay and we had no problems here at all. It is however not your typical B&B with a nice dining room and wonderful food. The food is average, coffee amazing, rooms are rather small and the private bathroom isn't actually in the room itself. There are also a number of rules to be...

Gosh, you reserved the one room we had (the cheapest one) that has its bath in the hallway. All others have in-suite baths. You made that choice. You wanted to pay less, you got a little less. The bath is not shared, just not in-suite. We have the lowest pricing of any BnB on the West side. You want more,...

We stayed two nights at Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast. We had the cozy room with the private bath adjacent. Everything was clean and comfortable. Our hostess made us welcome and offered helpful suggestions for finding our way around the area. We especially enjoyed the breakfast of home-grown fruits with crepes, and coffee grown on site. We had the leisure...

A great location with scenic views of Kona coastline and sunsets. A convenient drive into Kailua. At about 2000 feet elevation, the cool breezes made it very comfortable both night and day. Area is pretty quiet. Hans was very eager to provide information on this working coffee farm. Fresh bananas available for a quick snack. Generous breakfasts on the lanai....

My visit and stay at the Mango Sunset B & B was a very pleasant one. It is located on an 8 acre working coffee farm and is owned and operated by Hans & Marsha Eckert. These are very friendly, really nice people, who went out of there way to make my stay as nice as possible. The accommodations at...

Reviewer: David W. Ward This was my second stay at the Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast. The location is convenient to the airport and Kailua, without the congestion of the town during the weeks before, during and after the IronMan championship. The accomadations are comfortable, clean and friendly, offering free internet access and some beach and scuba gear use. The...

My boyfriend and I stayed for two night in September 2006 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location was extremely convenient to the airport, beaches, and restaurants and we were given a great hand-drawn map that really helped us navigate. My boyfriend was especially thankful for the Costco tip - the gas really was a lot cheaper. We stayed in the...

I loved this place. Marsha and Hans made us feel at home. They knew an incredible amount about the kona area. There is a beautiful view off the laini, especially during the sunset. it never gets too hot or too cold, down in kona it gets hot and muggy. In the morning we were served unbelievably good food, we also...

It is not the first time that my wife and I stay in B&B, but this time it was different. We arrived at Mango Sunset BnB at the beginning of April for 6 nights. At our arrival we got a very warm welcome from Marsha and Hans and the room was waiting for us nice, clean and comfortable, so we...

I stayed at BnB Lyman Farms for 2 nights. I wanted a quiet and affordable place for the night, and a breakfast in the morning. I got all that and a more: I very much liked the farm and the hosts. Hans showed me the farm and many of his plants. Their farm is in walking distance to a small...
