We (a family of four) stayed in townhouse 196 in March and we loved it. It was one of the better vacations we've ever had. The unit itself was clean and comfortable, and one side of it overlooked the ocean and adjoining beach. The lanai was a great spot to hang out and take in the scenery. Although the beach...

Our host contacted us warmly before we arrived and answered some questions. The condo itself was excellent, nicely furnished and well stocked, particularly in the kitchen which was better equipped than our own! The long, L shaped sofa was particularly comfortable. The corner lanai gave an excellent view, though Vog dimmed the sunsets a little. The living/dining area was spacious...

We stayed in this unit on the 3rd floor (top) of building 9 for four nights in early September. The complex is very nice with well maintained grounds, nice tennis courts and a good pool. The exterior of all the buildings had recently been painted, and they had crews grooming the landscaping while we were there. This was the nicest...

Based on reviews listed here, we decided to give the condo a try. We stayed in unit 1301 on the third floor – 2B,2Bath, Kitchen, Living room. One bedroom overlooked the ocean and the other overlooked the gardens. It was perfectly sized for 4 guests. The view was amazing, the property owner was very easy to deal with, and it...

We had another wonderful time on the Big Island and staying at Townhouse #2 for a second time! Lyn & Al are great communicators and make the logistics a snap. As before, we really enjoyed the townhouse, especially the ability to look out the window on the beach and see the nearly ever-present green sea turtles, the kayakers, spinner dolphins...

We (three adults, two children) were in Unit 3-302. Oceanfront, two bedrooms plus a loft with two twin beds for the children, lanai with great view, fully-equipped kitchen (right down to the salad spinner!), open-plan living room/eating area. About 14 miles from the airport--easy drive and easy to find. No air conditioning, but none needed with ceiling fans in every...

Stayed in condo in block 2 for 1 week - loved the space we had. Condo was well equipped and we didn't have any problems with noise from neighbours. Swimming pool on site was a bonus and never overly busy. No beach outside condos - black lava set about 15 feet above the ocean, but fabulous view and lovely to...

We stayed in Unit 3-102 at the Kona Surf and Racquest Club. The complex, pool and grounds were really nice, but our condo was in terrible shape. Obviously they have not updated in years. The note from the cleaning staff even said not to worry about all the rust on the appliances - that's just what happens when you stay...

My family and I think we’ve discovered a true hidden treasure in south Kona, so we share it only because Lyn and Al were so nice to us in arranging our stay there. Townhouse #2 at Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is one of five townhouses that lay directly in front of a beautiful cove and just a few steps...

Overall our unit met our expectations. It was well stocked with beach toys, etc. Had a slight problem with bugs (small ant like things). One of the phones didn't work and the air conditioner leaked water. The pool and tennis facilities were well maintained, very family friendly and conveniently located within the complex. The lack of beach (lots of "rocks")...
