Resort has many true oceanfront units, reasonably well maintained grounds, good location with gorgeous snorkeling at Kahaluu park within walking distance. I've stayed here a few times in beautiful units but got unlucky this time with #182. It is badly run down--missing the deadbolt in the front door, missing light bulb by front door, more than 1/3 of the light...

This condo was all that was promised and more! I really enjoyed my stay in 'paradise' as the accmodation was spotless and the location-about 25 metres from the ocean-perfect. To go to sleep each night with the sound of the surf and with the breeze off the ocean to keep it cool--who could ask for anything more. I would love...

We stayed in Unit 59 after reading other reviews and rented from Sandy. We didn't need AC but you may want to arrange for the portable unit if staying in the summer. Our unit was spotless, we could hear the ocean breezes and the snorkeling beach just a short walk from the unit was excellent. The pool was crystal clear...

My wife, six month old son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aloha Island Dreams/Kona 101 Townhouse #59. The place was in pristine condition when we arrived and had every amenity we could ask for. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean and watched beautiful sunsets every evening. The pool was amazing, as was the centralized location....

Great location. We watched dolphins every day from our lanai. Walked 5 minutes to a beach with sea turtles and great snorkeling. A mall with a grocery store, restaurants and a cinema was also very close. The place wasn't exactly clean, but it wasn't dirty enough to be an issue. I'd bring the binoculars to watch the dolphins.

My wife and I stayed in unit 1301 for six nights at the end of August 2008. We stayed at Kanaloa just to the south on our last visit 10 years ago, but if we visit again, I would chose Kona Surf 1301 again. Unit 1301 is a 3rd floor end unit with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The condo...

This condo was perfect. Beautiful view with sunset every evening. Fell asleep to the sound of the waves on the lava rocks below each night. This condo was conveniently located to the beach, snorkeling, shopping, dining and golf. It was a short drive to any of the attractions the Big Island has to offer. Very clean and well manicured grounds....

This was a great condo to relax by the ocean. The sunsets from the oceanfront lanai were beautiful. We were ground floor, with no steps! This made it so easy for bringing in groceries, suitcases, etc. We could walk right out on the grass in front of the lanai, where birds came for some tasty bird seed. The oceanfront course...

CALYPSO is right on the ocean facing the sunset, has lovely tile floors and two sets of huge sliding glass doors opening up directly onto the patio (also tiled). This is where we spent most of our time, either relaxing on the lounge chairs or sitting at the table watching the ocean. It was quiet and away from the street....
