This is a pool centric property that's best for families with small children. We were there for a weekend and it seemed like they sold day passes or had a locals rate or something as there were huge family groups dominating the pool.

Unfortunately, unlike Honolulu, there are no hotel shuttles. Well I guess I shouldn't say all hotel don't have shuttles since I can't confirm that, but Sheraton Kona and others I have stayed did not. Its rent a car, or take a taxi. I understand Uber is limited but also working on the Big Island. Probably going to cost you $40-45 for taxi/Uber.
