Excellent, spacious, well-appointed, well-maintained 2-storey condo. Friendly staff who were eager to help. The pool was a good size and such a good idea to have lots of pools on site. Full-sized fridge and good laundry facilities in our condo. Handy location, just a short drive to supermarkets and to excellent free snorkelling at Kahaluu Beach Park (a shallow lagoon...

Very pleased with our choice with this resort! We had the "Go Green" rate - with limited housekeeping (they replace towels and take your trash) - which was a bargain at about $87 a night including tax. Lovely to have a 1 bed apartment, with a very spacious lounge/dining room. Decor was v tropical (the carpet is a little wild!)....

We recently stayed at the Holua Resort and it was GREAT! The staff were very helpful and friendly, the grounds are lush and beautifully kept and there was no shortage of things to do. Definitely a lot of value for the price, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We have just returned home from our 2 week stay at Mauna Loa Village. I own a timeshare in Las Vegas so have stayed in 2 units there and also in Mexico but the Mauna Loa out did them all. We stayed in an upper unit which I would recommend as you get the advantage of much heigher ceilings, giving...

We loved the Holua Resort! They have beautiful grounds and every room has their own patio or deck. I have stayed in many condo resorts where your room was only serviced once or twice during your entire stay. At Holua, our room was cleaned and freshened every day! I was also pleased with the way that they provided everything we...

My mother, sister, husband and I spent 5 nights here last week in 3 units and had a wonderful time. We were supposed to have 3 one-bedroom units but they kindly upgraded my husband and I to a 2-bedroom, 2-story unit at no extra cost. The condos were so beautiful and well-equipped, the staff was friendly and very helpful, everything...

I think that we are mostly just agreeing with all the reviews before us. The accommodations were very spacious, updated and clean. We had really wonderful and friendly service for the whole period of our stay. There are no ocean view suites and even though the ocean and a small boat launch is within easy walking distance there is no...

We had an incredible time. The front desk staff: Evan, Donna, and Lynelle were just great. Wonderful facility and great location. Nothing negative to say at all! Would suggest they improve their concierge people who weren't near as friendly unless you were buying something from them. But, they weren't rude.

We booked this resort thanks to tripadvisor's reviews and just absolutely loved it. We stayed in 2 brm condo, 2nd floor - rooms are great, large, living room is enormous and balcony is huge with flowers all around you. Kitchen is new with all necessary utilities. We came here after we spent 2 days exploring Volcano in Hilo where it...

My husband was in Oahu for work, but we decided to visit the Big Island for the weekend. After staying just one night at the resort we wanted to stay forever. The whole place was very clean and beautifully decorated. The master bathroom tub could have been bigger, but other than that we loved it. The only bummer was the...
