I stayed here with my husband and mother in law. We got a 2 bedroom condo that I found a great price for on expedia. This property is a little tricky to get to if you dont mapquest it in advance and have a good map. It is not on the beach - you have to drive a couple miles...

This was our first trip to Hawaii, we loved the Holua Resort! We had the two bedroom villa, which had two floors and plenty of room to move around in. It is out of the way a little ( it is right next to the Sheraton), but you need to have a car on the Big Island anyway so it...

After reading the many glowing reviews of this resort I decided to cancel my reservation at the Military Camp located in Volcano N.P and book our stay here and I'm glade I did. I rented a 2 floor unit which consisted of 2 bedrooms with their own private baths and King Beds and a stacked washer/dryer in the hallway located...

The best part-the staff. You couldn't beat Evan's smile and friendliness. Very clean and the rooms where HUGE! It is not a resort, nor feels like it, however if you want to find a spacious place with great people and lots of room, this is an option. Pools weren't anything to write home about, but I assume if you are...

We were surprised by the fact that it looks much more like an apartment/condo than a hotel room. The village has a very good structure with tennis courts, swimming pools and gym. The staff is nice and although the housekeeping is limited, service cannot be considered a problem. There is a mall really close to the village what makes it...

The room blew me away - We took advantage of the "Go Green" promotion so the housekeeping was limited but that was fine for us. We got a 2 bedroom 3 bath Villa that was absolutely immaculate and nicley appointed although the color scheme was abit garish - but for us that is a really minor thing. The pcitures of...

This was an excellent choice. Based on the prior reviews, I booked our reservations and there was absolutely no surprises. The room was very clean and spacious. Everyone on the Holua staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. It may be a little further away from the main city of Kona, but well worth it. If you are looking for a...

Really great place, just like all the reviews said. When we arrived the room had not been cleaned, but the previous people had left it so tidy we didn't notice, and so accidentally turned away the cleaning people when they turned up. We then went out and only realised when we got back late that we didn't have towels etc....

It's not on the beach and you might even say it's somewhat out of the way but if you're planning to get out and about on the Big Island rather than soaking up the sun the entire time, I can't think of a better place to stay on the leeward side. Each villa has a full kitchen and there are...

We read reviews before we booked the Holua Resort and were not led astray. This is a great place to stay on the Big Island. We booked the Go Green limited housekeeping which was a better deal than even Expedia/Orbitz/etc. We had a one bedroom villa which was huge. There are numerous swimming pools and grills located throughout the resort,...
