Kona Coast Resort is a very nice resort. It is more of a time share type of resort, but you can still rent rooms like a hotel. The office lobby area is very small and it makes hearing the desk clerk very difficult if there are a lot of people in the lobby area talking all at once or if...

We just got back from the Big Island, and spent 7 nights at the Kona Coast Resort the 1st week of April. Our accommodations were excellent! We stayed in building 19 room 103, close to the pool and the Sunset Terrace, a great little bar and restaurant overlooking the pool (try their awesome pupus). We often went to Sunset Terrace...

This is an excellent resort. Complete full kitchen with washer and dryer. Our 2 bedroom unit was huge!!! Probably the largest timeshare resort unit I have ever been in. It also has two pools and two tennis courts with a playground and shuffleboard court.

I get it. When in Hawaii don't work. The facilities were a bit dated, the staff great, the restaurant was fantastic but the internet was terrible. We have been coming here for years and the last they promised they were upgrading the internet. Well they went with Deep Blue Comm and all week long they just kept sayin "working on...

Into day 3 of a 6 day stay on a timeshare swap and loving every minute. We have a 1 bedroom 2 bath unit, very spacious with a king bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. We haven't tried the sofa bed but in theory the unit could hold 4 people. The grounds are spotless...

This was our 5th year staying at the KCR, and it never disappoints. We stayed in a remodelled suite and it was great to have the new appliances, furniture and mattress. As always the staff were very friendly and helpful. For us the only downfall is the fitness facility, a few cardio machines and an older universal gym are all...

Stayed here 5 nights while exploring around Kona and surrounding environs. Condo was nice and clean with all the amenities including AC. It had a nice large lanai for relaxing between adventures. Only complaint is this resort is a sprawling complex and our view was of the parking lot and other condos. A golf course lies between the ocean and...

A very nicely maintained Resort with 2 beautiful pools and hot tubs. Baby pools also! Loved watching sunsets on the lava beach by the blowhole. Had some of the most reasonable priced and best tasting salads and fish tacos in the poolside restaurant! Live guitar music each night and on Mondays there was a performance of Darling little children dancing,...

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We're happy that you like our pools, and that you took some time to watch the sunset from the lava beach. And of course, having great food always makes a vacation even better! We hope you're able to stay with us again very soon. Warm regards,

This was part of a timeshare belonging to good friends. You can rent a condo here without that I I am told, but I am not sure how that works. The 2 bedroom units are 2 stories with the bedrooms downstairs and the living and kitchen above. Very clean and well cared for by the attentive staff. Covered parking and...
