Into day 3 of a 6 day stay on a timeshare swap and loving every minute. We have a 1 bedroom 2 bath unit, very spacious with a king bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. We haven't tried the sofa bed but in theory the unit could hold 4 people. The grounds are spotless...

This was our 5th year staying at the KCR, and it never disappoints. We stayed in a remodelled suite and it was great to have the new appliances, furniture and mattress. As always the staff were very friendly and helpful. For us the only downfall is the fitness facility, a few cardio machines and an older universal gym are all...

Stayed here 5 nights while exploring around Kona and surrounding environs. Condo was nice and clean with all the amenities including AC. It had a nice large lanai for relaxing between adventures. Only complaint is this resort is a sprawling complex and our view was of the parking lot and other condos. A golf course lies between the ocean and...

A very nicely maintained Resort with 2 beautiful pools and hot tubs. Baby pools also! Loved watching sunsets on the lava beach by the blowhole. Had some of the most reasonable priced and best tasting salads and fish tacos in the poolside restaurant! Live guitar music each night and on Mondays there was a performance of Darling little children dancing,...

This was part of a timeshare belonging to good friends. You can rent a condo here without that I I am told, but I am not sure how that works. The 2 bedroom units are 2 stories with the bedrooms downstairs and the living and kitchen above. Very clean and well cared for by the attentive staff. Covered parking and...

Last time we went to kona we stayed in a hotel. We wanted to try a condo this time. Our stay at kona coast resort was great. Nice resort, comfortable & quiet. We had a golf course view, it was pretty but I would prefer an ocean view. Unfortunately very few units have an ocean view. We had a 1 bedroom...

The resort offers two phases. Phase 1 features units that were built as residences. Thus some of the units have full time residents and the remaining units are timeshare. These units are a bit older, but are quite spacious. The two bedroom units have a master suite with en suite. The second bedroom is quite large as well. The bedrooms...

We were in a 1 BR/2 bath ground floor condo, (very large) AND well equipped with washer/dryer.. Located next to golf course, with ocean just about 2 blocks away, but can be seen from bar area/swimming pool/hot tub area. JUST GREAT The rooms are large, well appointed, and clean. Grounds are very well groomed, and the location is excellent -...

Unites are clean and comfortable, they freshen up twice a week. There are pools, Jacuzzis, Grills, playgrounds, etc but there is SO much to do on the Big Island, it is difficult to spend much time here. Very convenient shopping center a short walk away. A snorkel beach is about a mile away down the coast (there is a $2/each...

We have been staying at the Kona Coast Resort for many years with Shell Vacations Club and now consider it "our place" when we travel to Hawaii Island. The rooms are large, well appointed, and clean. Grounds are very well groomed, and the location is excellent - away from the hustle and bustle of Kona, but close enough to allow...
