We were happy with this vacation condo from booking through departing. We called the condo after not being able to get the one that was listed. Adelaide found an available unit and assured us that we would like it. We LOVED it! The location was outstanding only a few steps from the shoreline. We watched sea turtles directly below our...

Just got back from our trip to Kona. Stayed at Hale Kona Kai in 413 and 401. Both have their good points... 413 is a bit dated, but has huge lanai, lots of stuff for the beach, and the kitchen is well equipped. You have a view of ocean and Sheraton's lagoon. You can listen to Sheraton's luau. 401 is...

We stayed in Unit #209 this week at Hale Kona Kai and decided to leave a review since we couldn't find one while we were researching places to stay in Kona. In general this is a great group of condos and Adeline Andres was very helpful and welcoming. The condo was easy to find with the directions we were given...

Just returned from Hawaii and already reserved accommodations for February 2018. After years of bouncing around the west coast of the Big Island, from Waikoloa to Miloli'i, we discovered Hale Kona Kai via a classified listing in Hawaii Magazine in 1999. Our love of this ocean front, conveniently located, condo advanced to obsession when Adeline Andres assumed management in 2003...we reserve...

When they say oceanfront they mean it. You are literally on the water in your rooms. the deck overlooks ocean pools where we have daily watched turtles playing. The whales off the coast are great to watch. The condo is fully stocked and after having rented many condos , we have found this one to have everything we wanted. Beach...

I can't find enough superlatives to describe our condo and stay. The condos sit right on the ocean with wonderful views of daytime water activities, spinner dolphins and ships. Each evening we had drinks on the balcony while toasting a brilliant sunset. There was a beach within walking distance and a pool if we didn't want to get sandy. The...

If you like the sound of the surf, watching the spinner Dolphins and whales from your Lanai, then this is the condo for you . The manager Adeline and Terri are so welcoming and knowledgable about the area. There are only 39 condos so you get to know the people staying here. Some, which I've met, have been coming for...

I have heard, more than once, from so many people who have searched far and wide on the Big Island... for that perfect gem of a location. Example: "I spent months looking and visiting and staying at different places near Kona, and when I found the Hale Kona Kai, I stopped looking. We have been coming here since 1996! that...

Hale Kona Kai is the perfect location for walking around Kona. We stayed in #208 and hearing and seeing the surf crashing against the rocks was awesome! The condo really needs some updating and it wouldn't take that much $$$. The pillows on the day bed are disgusting and smelly - Just change them out! Also, please replace the coffee...

This is an amazing place. It is on a quiet street, but a short walk from the bars and restaurants on Alii Drive. All the condos are ocean-front and the lanais are right above the rocks with tide pools and crashing waves. Our condo was very nicely decorated and well equipped. It had a separate bedroom, and a great kitchen....
