This hotel is located in the downtown area of Kailua-Kona. It's a nice authentic Hawaiian themed local hotel where the staff is nice, the rooms are descent, but there's no air-conditioning and no cafe on the premises. However, there are eateries in walking distance.

Beds were ok. Nice service team. Washing machines were available. Would recommend again as price and service were in on a good level. Don't expect too much, but Hotel was ok and in walking distance to pier and restaurants

Check with the hotel desk (they are very helpful) - both about the affiliated restaurant next door and nearby places. There are several fast foot joints nearby (McD's, subway) that are likely open but that's probably not what you want for arriving in Hawaii on Thanksgiving. Since the hotel is right in downtown Kona most likely something will be open.
