This is a charming family run hotel which is well situated overlooking the bay. We had a stunning view from our room and enjoyed our breakfast on the terrace each morning. Every morning there were added treats - pancakes, homemade cakes and little doughnuts. The small pool at the back was a great sun spot to read and relax, although...

We stayed in a building behind the villa and had excellent rooms with private patio overlooking the bay. Very friendly staff. Lovely breakfast with freshly baked (still warm) cake! Minutes from the jetty where we were dropped by speedboat transfer. What a way to start our holiday!

we had high hopes for Villa Vilina, but sadly found it to be sadly lacking. The staff were the unfriendliest hotel staff I have ever come across. Any conversation made was always started by myself. At one point when i dared to ask for ice in my drink the owner made it clear she thought me a pain in the...

If you want a small b n b on a very quiet island - Villa Vilina does the job. Great location overlooking the harbour with a very attractive terrace. Next to the monastery the bells chime on the hour throughout the day and night - not a problem for us. We had a lovely room, room 32 3rd floor, no...

If you're looking for a modern, clinical, resort style/run, 300+ bedroom hotel with Karaoke nights in the bar........this is definitely not for you. Villa Vilina is a lovely family-run boutique style hotel with the best view over the harbour and across the bay on the beautiful island of Lopud. It has absolutely the finest position with magnificent sunsets. As well...

Having read the other reviews I think it depends on what you are looking for and probably which room you stay in. We stayed here for 4 nights as a bit of relaxation following 10 nights close to the Old City of Dubrovnik. We are a family of 3 with a 14 year old son. On the advice of Completely...

The good points • Incredibly clean • Reasonable décor • Lovely terrace and bar (which no one uses) • Breakfast is OK (but very repetitive if you are staying for more than a week) • View is lovely overlooking the small port and the church as well as the other side of the bay. • There is a nice lounge...

This was our second visit and we feel that it is essential that visitors know what they are buying into when they stay here. It is not a run of the mill package deal hotel. It is a spotlessly clean, quiet villa in the most perfect position, our room overlooked the bustling little harbour and across to the other side...
