When you go budget, you can't expect much. But this Motel 6 exceeding those expectations. The rooms were cheery and painted with desert colors. It was clean, and fairly updated. The staff was terrific and the owner responded immediately to a disruption that was happening down the hall. I would highly recommend staying at this Motel 6 outside of Joshua...

Motel 6, with its large sign, is easy to find, but not the office, which is around the corner. The welcome sign almost obscures the office entrance. Any case, had our room ready and it was fairly decent. WiFi is NOT included - charge $2.99 - per phone or per room, we didn't know. It is inconceivable these days not...

Made reservation well ahead for holiday. When we arrived at the motel to check-in, the clerk named Karen said they did not have non-smoking room which we reserved. She said the room was good because they cleaned with deodorizing spray. Many folks know that is not enough at all if you hate smoking. We refused that because we have allergy...

$60 one night for three people. You get a bed and a shower in a clean room. Don't expect a resort or anything fancy and you will be fine. On the plus side it looked like it has recently been remodeled so it is in great shape. The only down side was thin walls. The room next door took midnight...

Rediculously overpriced for the quality of accommodation. This was Motel 6 accommodation for the price of a decent Holiday Inn Express room. Basic decor, dirty laminate 'pretend hardwood' flooring, dusty, no toiletries. We stayed at the weekend and were told that the price almost doubles at the weekend, due to the proximity to Joshua Tree National Park. The town is...

The staff at check in were very friendly, the room was very large and clean. There is a laundry service and microwave next to the reception. Restaurants are located in the neighborhood (e.g. Pizza Hut) I can highly recommend this place. It is very close to the Joshua Tree NP.

Very nice place to stay in 29 Palms, CA. We had 2 rooms and they were clean and organized. We have been in WORSE rooms. The staff was very happy to help when and if we needed anything. I would recommend this hotel, if I was asked.

We stayed here 2 nights during our road trip; friendly staff, good rates and a clean, comfy room. Close to entrance road to Joshua Tree National Park,15 minutes walk from a couple decent places to eat, drink and play pool (reviewed elsewhere on TA) All you could want from a budget chain motel, really.

We visited Twentynine from MO. Stayed for a week in July. Rooms were clean, beds comfy, staff friendly. Nice clean Pool. Only complaint is the room never really cooled down under 85 degrees or so. We were moved once but no better. They stated 45 rooms were closed for the AC issues but corporate wasn't listening. No breakfast but the...
