    For the novice star gazer I would say yes. We sat out on our private patio and were amazed. There is still city light but not like in your big cities. We loved it.

    You must have read someone else's review because our cabin was never broken into. As a matter of fact we never even locked our doors when we left to go hiking. Im sure it was a rarity. Its a very safe place.
