We have stayed on several occasions and find the family atmosphere to be soothing. There is an old fashioned feeling to the rooms which we loved. The kitchen was nicely set up. It is well back from roads and very quiet. The owner is very personable and interested in the comfort of his guests.

Where do I begin? Rats, iffy security, no TP, no dish soap, no ice, dirty room, beat-up furniture, leaks under the sink, unkempt grounds. Nice couple running it but obviously run down and unmaintained. Three BIG chain hotels in town making it hard for the little guy, I suppose. Needs to be put out of its misery with a bulldozer.

There are only two good things about this place and that would be the very friendly gentleman that runs it and they accept dogs. It was once probably a very charming desert motel. It could be again. We stayed for three nights. The spacious room had a huge stain on the carpet like someone had bled to death. The room...

We chose Circle C after a lot of research but ended up very disappointed. First the pros: nice courtyard, good and quiet location, quiet fan, friendly staff. Cons: grungy, disgustingly dirty breakfast room; our suite wasn't cleaned until after the 3rd night and only after I requested it; poor quality toilet paper; very noisy air-con; uncomfortable furniture; no facility for...

My boyfriend and I ended up making last minute reservations here after spending too long in Joshua tree. We did not want to drive all the way back to L.A. WE wanted to stay at another nearby hotel, but it sold out so we thought we were settling for this place. We were very wrong. We arrived very late and...

Our fourth stay. The first time was in 2006 as our son was returning from Iraq. The owners/managers were welcoming and appreciative of his service and gave us the military discount. We returned in 2007. After 6 years away, it was time for us to return. Same owners/managers, who again made us feel at home, and we were glad to...

I was really glad that we found this place because the base hotel had a flood and canceled our reservations last minute and the waiting list for base housing is 5+ months. The rooms are very big, with a big closet, tv & dvd player (they are older, but serve the purpose), the a/c keeps it cool. This is an...

I remembered my experience from the last time i was charged to stay without actually staying here.. Seems like the staff are writing comments to get four stars or something because just about EVERY comment (good or bad) mentions something about dirty, dingy and falling apart! Like I said before these people are greedy and take money for people to...

We had a great stay at this motel near Joshua Tree. The hosts are so nice and were so calm and relaxed after our hectic drive form Los Angeles. The room are showing their age but it was clean and quiet. We are fine with this as we are campers and lovers of log cabins. Pool is closed right now...

We just spent 2 nights at the Circle C Lodge while exploring Joshua Tree. Two mom's and 5 kids, (11-13 years) I've stayed there several times before and the owners could not be nicer! However, it seems as they've given up on the property. The pools was closed for resurfacing and we knew that in advance. The hot tub was...
