We had room 24 right at the front of the traditional Austrian Hotel Post, Which is right in the centre of town. Everything you could possible want is on hand. The rooms are spotless clean, cleaned daily towels changed when needed. The food was plentiful, breakfast a good quality a choice continental. The normal bread, toast, fresh fruit and a... More

The Post is a very traditional Austrian Hotel with many dining areas including a smoke free area (Thank Goodness) inside, at the front of the hotel. The service was prompt and the food delicious. Our 3 mains included Wiener Schnitzel, Trout with butter parsley potatoes and Pork with Sauerkraut & Knödel. Plus a mixed salad. Desert of Pancakes with fruit... More

We were here on a Shearings Holiday, ignore that fact and it was a great hotel, I am sure we would have been treated the same had we been private guests, that said it would appear that the hotel is taken over by Inghams for the ski season, so we'll never know but their summer rep was fantastic and the... I dont normally leave very poor reviews but we ate outside as it was hot,I asked if meals were being served as our baby was fractious and hungry, the waitress took our order and said the food would be about 10 minutes, 30 minutes later when the food still had not arrived I asked how much longer and was told the... Stayed here last week on a coach holiday. ... it's spotlessly clean, friendly , family run, staff are fantastic and will welcome you with open arms. We plan to go back next year but fly out. We would recommend this hotel to anyone any age. Our two children (12, 14) were there youngest this year. I have promised to learn... More

The staff, especially Sabine at the front desk, are friendly, helpful, always smiling and wanting to make your holiday the best it can be. The food is good Austrian food with a filling breakfast. Its great location makes it an ideal base. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean and comfortable, one place we will return to.

My family and I have been coming to the Post for 11 years, and would highly recommend it. The staff are all concerned with making your stay enjoyable, and hoping you return next year. As other reviews have stated quite correctly, the food is not Al a Carte, however it is hot, plentiful and nutritious. The location is ideal, being... More

The Hotel Post might appear rustic and on the basic but comfy side, but it is much more then this. The locality is ideal and the bar is exceptional cosy, but its the staff and clientele thats makes this hotel the place to be. Aldi's best or this years 'Spider' offering, the only thing you need here is the love... More

This rustic hotel has its staff to thank for its atmosphere - caring, friendly and helpful. The wee bar on ground floor usually has a good crowd and lively but relaxed vibe. So what's the problem? Cigarettes. Depending on the crowd it can be smokefree or it stinks your skin clothes and hair. Lungs? Austrian hoteliers, realise that nonsmokers outnumber... More
