I get the impression that this hotel has been even better in the past. People mention gala dinner nights when the parents of the current owners were in charge. The welcome is good, best described as brisk even though we arrived by bus as a disparate...More
We had a really good week in this friendly, family run hotel. They went out of their way to accommodate our group of 32 (although we were a bit squashed in when it came to spaces in the restaurant). The rooms are fairly basic with...More
Just returned from a fantastic stay at the Hotel Gansleit. It has all been said before but just to reiterate you will not find a more friendly place to stay that caters for your every need. We normally venture out to explore in the evenings...More

This is just a fantastic hotel. Nothing flashy or brash, just friendly hospitality away from home. The place runs like a well oiled classic car (or motorbike). Nothing is left to chance. Everything is well thought out. For example we called ahead to give details...More

It's on the outskirts. We used to apres ski in the Hexenalm at the bottom of the lift. Typical Austrian ski sings and dancing with a good atmosphere. Then we would walk back to the Gansleit there's a track across the field takes about 5 minutes. If you want to go into the main town of Soll it takes about 5 minutes from the Gansleit but we only went out once after the evening meal because there's a good bar and the people staying at the hotel when we were there were good company. Depends on your age group really but it's a good hotel.
