Just spent four nights at this wonderful hotel. What makes it so special is the friendly and welcoming staff. A fantastic contemporary, funky, glass and concrete building. The bedrooms are spacious, well appointed, with quirky finishes. You can relax in the bath and take in the beautiful views over the Rendl ski run! So nice to be in a modern...

This is our fourth time to Lux Alpinae and nothing disappoints, firstly the owners are amazing friendly and with huge personality! The staff were great particularly the older staff who we love very much (and part of the reason we keep coming back) and then the food is first class, healthy and very fresh! All the cleaning staff do a...

Have just spend 5 days at Lux, the hotel is not your traditional Austrian alpine resort, however, nicely done in steel and concrete. The hotel is right on the main road as described by others, however, you don't notice the cars that much and at night it is quiet anyway - great view over the Rendl ski area, beautiful. All...

We stay for 5 nights in hotel Lux Alpinea where the staff were ever so welcoming, and the rooms, spa and restaurant were great. Quality evening meals and breakfast with a good selection of beverages. It's only a short walk into town but there is always a shuttle bus outside ready to drop you off and collect again when the...

Me and my wife decided to go a little up market for our skiing holidays this year, feeling we deserved a week of luxury and pampering. Our first impression of the hotel was disappointment. The super modern desing room had a feeling of neglect and the hotels facilities (common rooms & Spa) were well below average and expected for this...

An industrial concrete and glass edifice built into the cliff, with a climbing wall outside your bedroom door makes this an unusual place, but it is a great place to stay in the wonderful ski resort of St Anton. The staff are brilliant: friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. Probably the best of them are never seen, but work their magic...

Lux means light, not luxury. Its modern glass construction ensures light in abundance and what it lacks in luxury it makes up for in the warmth of its welcome and staff and truly excellent personal service. The hotel fronts onto the main road leading up the valley a little distance from the centre of town so there is a shuttle...

This was one of the most authentic and warm welcomes we experienced at a hotel. It is a family run hotel, all family members work here as well as very kind international young service providers who come to work to such resorts over the season. It is a boutique life style hotel with a very big warmth to it. Every...

If you want quality luxury accommodation with excellent staff, fantastic restaurant and general home away from home feel then stay at this resort. Spent 4 nights here, catching up with some friends. The hotel is only 10 min walk from the main ski lifts, or you can utilise the complimentary chauffeur service which run frequently. With the half board you...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A holiday in St. Anton without the deer antlers. With a gigantic Alpine backdrop and one of the most famous skiing areas in the world outside. With urban flair and unintrusive hospitality indoors. With extraordinary architecture and the kind of food you’d get at a cool, hip restaurant. Glass, steel, fairfaced concrete. ... more   less
