Just back from a week at the Staffler with our family, friends and their children. Slightly different atmosphere over the half-term week, with (not surprisingly) a lot more children around and therefore a few less late nights at the Cave Bar, but the Staffler never disappoints. Fantastic food as ever, lots of improvements around the place (including the muesli bar...

Superb holiday spent at the Staffler. Nick, Yana, the staff and the other guests made us all feel so welcome. The food was fantastic, especially the gluten free options for my son. The weather was perfect and the snow was excellent wherever we were. The highlight for my eldest son and husband was the hotel's guided skiing. But my other...

Yes it is possible: just returned from a week at the Staffler, our second visit and something the host Nick describes as "putting on a pair of old slippers". Exactly right. From the airport pick up, 30 seconds from the terminal at Munich Airport, to the evening meal stories, daily piste shenanigans and fantastic welcoming ambience, Staffler is a rarity....

Our mixed family group of 13 were catered for in every way. Nothing was too much trouble to sort from the fantastic Staffler team. Always happy, polite and pleased to see you. Yana and Nick run the perfectly oiled machine that is the Staffler - boutique hotel it is not but it's like your own home and I know where...

Yana and Nick are a loving, lovely, fun couple who make this hotel the perfect place to stay for families, who want a safe environment for the children, but also for groups wanting to have fun. They cater for everyone and go above and beyond wth their hospitality and guiding. The hotel is clean tidy and homely. Full of fun...

Week at The Staffler a little bit of home in Austria made to feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. Nick looking after us with his great team. Our mixed group were never bored from great skiing, afternoon in the local health spa with swimming for the kids, a night dancing in the Cave and my highlight the 25 mins...

As a returning visitor to the Hotel Staffler (mainly because of the fantastic time and service had the previous year), I was again not disappointed. Nick and the team are fabulous hosts and all the staff help to make it feel like one big, massive family. Meal times are always entertaining and the mountain guidance throughout the days skiing is...

...... but if they did, they'd model it on the Staffler. If you want chic pretentious elegance or servings of quinoa then don't bother - but if you want a warm professional welcome, staff who really can't do too much for you, and unfussy , laid back and genuine service you really should give it a try. Our third trip...

Nick and the team pulled out all the stops again to ensure that we were accommodated, fed, very much watered and entertained. The atmosphere in the hotel is always good with regular customers like ourselves returning year after year. The extremely good value ski pass and the excellent shuttle bus service that the hotel runs means you can ski a...

Unbelievable value. This is old skool, run by the Amazing Nick. Dinner is straight forward 3 course unchallenged fayre - typically canapes, leak and potato soup, lasagne followed by sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. Plus there's always a veggie option. What more could you want after a hard day's skiing? And seconds are usually available if you have any...
