The hotel looks like having had a long history. We arrived and were approached by two old persons not speaking english. They were gentle though. Rooms are very new, wide and clean. No wellness area in the hotel, they have a private beach in the nearby lake (at 1000 mt more less) Food, in the half board, was very basic

Excellent, helpful stuff, with spacious, clean room and good breskfast and dinner. The place is in the midle -between hallstatt and bad ischle and it was our base for a 3 days...the weather was also sunny which was unespectable for 20Th of December..pure luck 😉.the countryside is beautiful - lots of lakes..more the 70, and all area is surrounded by...

Very good and helpful staff. We were collected from and dropped off at the Post bus stop at the beginning and the end of our stay. This hotel-pension is very quiet and positioned for easy access to the bicycle trails and is a short walk to catch the ferry to St Wolfgang. Based on our 3 night stay, the top...

Helpful staff, providing a solution for an early breakfast. Used this budget place for 1 night prior to a bike race. Nothing extraordinary, it was worth the money, had a quiet night. Heating was on as the night was chilly already early Sept

We spend one night there with the little breakfast and supper included. The room was clean and cozy, but to get the key we had to search for the person and the food was ok, but the supper service was too fast. We took our last bite of the first service, the second and almost the third one arrived. We...

This hotel is in need of renovation; the carpets are stained and everything seems a little tired. The bathroom is dated. The shower curtain rod fell down and the toilet lid didn't want to stay up. The bottom sheet on our bed was rough - more like an absorbent sheet you might put down for a child who wets the...

We stayed at the Pension Carossa for one night only as part of a bike tour. The owner and his son were very nice and made the difference between 3 and 4 stars for me. The hotel was a short walk from the ferry which would take you to St. Wolfgang, which is lovely. St. Gilgen is not much of...

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. It is a bit remote from transportation and conveniences. The staff are most accommodating and really helped us out of a potentially disastrous situation. A car is an absolute must here.

We had 2 nights at the beginning of our walk and then returned for a final night at the end of the walk. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean but the host, Alexander was fantastic. He was welcoming and understanding of our needs, particularly when we asked for a room change when one of our rooms had a strong...
