I stayed in this hotel 3 nights in the end of December 2016. i It is a family run Austrian pension style hotel, rustically and traditionally furnished. The hostess was friendly and welcoming, but not in an overwhelming way. The room was large, comfortable and homely furnished, with a sofa and a little balcony. Bathroom with shower, spotlessly clean. The...

We stayed two nights. Friendly staff great room with a balcony, with a view of the town and lake in the background, close to the town and the tram to the top of the mountain, great location. We were on the third floor, they have an elevator, parking nearby, not too far of a walk. We would stay here again...

This is a very nice place to stay. We were traveling by public transport so appreciated that is was an easy walk from the bus stop in St. Gilgen. The rooms were cute, clean, and more spacious than in most hotels we stayed in during our time in Europe. We loved having a balcony with a glimpse of the lake...

The location of the hotel is excellent, just a three-minute walk from the Salzburg-bus stop and the valley station of Zwölferhorn cable car, and a five-minute walk to the shores of lake Wolfgangsee. We arrived too early, and the room reserved for us was not ready. Because the weather was sunny, we decided to take the cable car up to...

Our room was clean , well equiped with enough space. There was a terrace with mountain view which we never used but it was OK. The host was unbelievably kind and help ful with a permanent smile on her cute face. Breakfast was OK with Austrian standard. Location is perfect and safe, close to ferry and bus terminal. 1:20' to...

A two night stay following our arrival in Salzburg from London in something of a heat-wave. St Gilgen is quaint little town by the lake and seems popular with a local Austrian and German crowd. The hotel is very near the cable-car station at the top of the town and a short walk through town to the lakeside. The family...

This is one of the cutest hotels I have stayed in during my travels. It is located about 200 meters from the bus station. Actually, in the center of town where there are several good restaurants and cafes. The beautiful lake is a 10 minutes walk away. As you enter the hotel you see that the place is tastefully done....

This is like your grandmother's warm, knick-knack-filled home that smells of cinnamon and makes you feel always welcome. Anneelise is a dear hostess who seems to be perpetually cheerful. The rooms are more sparsely decorated than the public areas and are spotlessly clean. The beds comfortable with good reading lights. Complimentary Mozart kugeln and mineral water and a really good...
