Sweet, sweet ladies who run this. Very beautiful! Such a nice place to go for a getaway. We didn't have phone service but that actually was great. Best time we've had in along time. We absolutely loved attending President Jimmy Carter's Sunday school class.

On a brief road trip we expected to stay in Americus, GA but went on to Plains and so glad we did! Plains IS tiny, quaint and beyond friendly. This inn has 7 rooms theme decorated in decades from 1920-1980. We were with my sister in law and husband and had the whole place to ourselves! The inn was a...

This was our third time staying in the Inn. We stayed in the presidential suite and had a wonderful visit. We were there to see President Carter teach Sunday School the following morning. Ms. Jan welcomed us, as always, and made sure that we had all of the details for Sunday School the next day. People staying at the Inn...

I stayed in the 1970s presidential suite over the weekend, while in Plains to hear former President Jimmy Carter teach Sunday School. The entire inn, is very intriguing. It's decor is somewhat rustic and country in the kitchen and general living room, with artwork and furntiture characteristic of decades 1920s-1980s in each designated bedroom suite. Overall I enjoyed my stay...

This inn is located on the main street of the town of Plains, GA. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Gloria, a lovely lady. She showed us up to our rooms and where the keys are. She also let us know about the ice machine and the fridge that is open to everyone staying at the inn. There is...

We enjoyed a delightful evening visiting with other guests of this charming Inn We had come to Plains to learn more about our 39th President. Everyone we met were friendly and very proud to be part of keeping President and Mrs. Carters involvement in this historic town in the public view. We were told how the President and Mrs. Carter...

Can't do any better than this for the price. In New Jersey our 85$ room would have been $200. Or more. No detail was overlooked....we had the 1920 Room which was exceptional in my opinion. Breakfast was self serve but enough choices. I would add half and half for the coffee rather than powder and provide 2% milk for the...

The Inn is amazing. The one street Main street houses a few old timey shops and the Inn. The second floor of the Inn is the hotel with a central eating area supplied with a full kitchen, breakfast items in the kitchen for guests' use and a cozy gathering spot. The rooms are numbered 1920, 1930, etc. up to 1980....

Going to The Plains Inn and experiencing President Carter's Sunday School lesson is something that should be on many Bucket Lists. The entire experience is so out of the ordinary. The Inn keeper Jan Williams makes everyone feel like family and does everything humanly possible to make this a peek experience for each guest. The woman who cares for the...

I reserved the entire inn this past weekend for a group to enjoy the historic sites of Plains and to hear President Carter teach Sunday School. The rooms are situated down a long hall on a floor that looks like a beautifully restored old home. Each room is tastefully decorated for a decade representing Carter's life, so touring each room...
