We camped here on the property under the trees at Nana Juana and even though it was not a regular camping ground we enjoyed the two nights we stayed. We had access to the beautiful swimming pool and all of the other facilities. Finding camping spots in Guatemala was difficult but this was a good find.

The Rio Dulce is one of the most fascinating areas I have been to. Great wildlife and beautiful jungle. This experience will be spoilt if you stay at the Nana Juanna. They try to take every last Q from you even though you pay a hefty price for the room. Check you get the room you pay for. In our...

Pros - very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, location Cons - bathroom in open area and not private, no bathroom door, no bathroom wall, doors and cabinets sticky, no screens on windows, workers back and forth right outside most expensive room, no internet, slippery wet floors, hot tub didn't work, shower stall was claustrophobic, huge potholes in dirt road,...

First off although I booked an executive suite I was informed I would be behind the reception desk not facing the water. After a tip and my guides interference I was given a water view but the room had no safe. I was told for $40 a night more I could have a room with a safe. At first I...

We had a nice stay here. All the staff were very pleasant. The room and bathroom were spacious and the bed comfortable. The air con leaked to form a pool on the floor and when we reported this it did not seem to come a surprise. The food was good in the restaurant and the views of the lake excellent.

For the rates charged you expect a little more like paper in the bathroom or A/C may be even lights. The person in charge moved me to another cabin, but A/C to small for the cabin so it was hot all night. Internet signal does not reach rooms at least the 2 I had experience with. There is no room...

The marina is in a great location on the Rio Dulce. The staff at the Marina are excellent and want to be as helpful as they possibly can be. Nice substantial moorings and with the added bonus of being able to use the pool in the hotel grounds. Rio Dulce is a great place to bring your boat during hurricane...

Based on some prior reviews we had our doubts about this hotel, but it was a very pleasant positive suprise. The hotel itself, grounds, harbor setting, wonderful pool, bungalow lodgings and restaurant was very nice. Our eleven year old grand-daughter rated the pool the best of seven that we used while in Central America. The only problem was that almost...

An amazing vacation in a great location. The hotel staff were very nice and helped us in everything we needed. The hotel rooms are very big and comfortable. We had a great time sailing in the river and swimming in the big pool. Very recommended for your next stay
