Everything is great in this comfortable Hotel. Rooms are big enough and always clean and fresh thanks to its air conditioning system, necessary for Peten's heat, a feature you will love specially if you come from Europe! I should recommend the food from the restaurant!! quite delicious and its menu has a wide variety available. The first time I was...

We stayed just the one night at this hotel and probably would not stay here again by choice. The room wasn't very clean we had to ask for a new towel as it was dirty. One of the beds in the room still had hair and other stuff from the previous guest. The beds also were not very comfortable. Would...

We stayed here before going to stay one night at a hotel closer to the park. As it turns out this is ideal for Tikal visits - whether day trip or sunset/ sunrise tour. The shower is great and the a/c and fan is perfect for returning to. We hired a driver to take us to Yaxha and this service...

Great value for price. It was really cheap. There were no hot water in shower, but who would need it anyway even in January, when outside temperature was +26-28 :-) No A/C in our room, but we've got a fan, which was quite enough to make room comfortable in the evening. I was a little bit concerned regarding the noise...

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Las Gardenias. The room was clean, the AC worked great, and the water was hot. The wifi was non-existent but we had read all the earlier reviews so we weren't surprised. What really makes this place is the staff. They were all so friendly and helpful. No English but we got by with...

This is the second time we stay at Las Gardenias. Peten can get really hot, so it is quite nice that the rooms have A/C. The restaurant has a view of the lake and the hotel has wifi. It is on the side of the road leading to Tikal. it is very reasonably priced. Relative to hotels in the US,...

I didn't know that El Remate where Las Gardinas is located is 20 minutes from the airport and Flores. My plane arrived Sunday night and there were about 5 cab drivers waiting outside the airport. I usually look for someone relaxed with a friendly face but only saw people swarming me. I went back inside to consider possibilities and then...

Thank you for your review. We apologize for the internet, but it is an issue that is beyond of our control, we do want to provide a better internet service but due to our rural setting the internet provider does not provide any system. We are working on it. We appreciate your patience. Regarding to your comment about the taxi...

Good rooms and comfortable beds all set around a lovely tropical garden with a restaurant upstairs overlooking the lake. Average food as always however but good service everywhere. What a shame the wifi did not reach our room at the end of the garden. All they need is $20 USD repeater to solve the problem. We stayed a few nights...

We arrived much later than expected and it is very dark in El Remate as there is not much around. However, the hotel send a shuttle (200Q) for us at the bus terminal in Flores when we arrived. Driver, Emilio, is so sweet! Owner was waiting for us to show us to our room. The rooms are no frills, simple,...
