Wonderful Bed and Breakfast property across street from Tulane University and will stay here again. Beautifully appointed, no difficulty with street parking, and the kitchen went out of its way to serve meatless options for us at breakfast, including morningstar farms products. Kudos to the staff for making that happen. Looking forward to staying here again.

This bed and breakfast is a nice place to stay when visiting New Orleans. It is quiet and welcoming. The streetcar goes right past, so it is easy to get to downtown and the French Quarter. Breakfast was delicious, and in the afternoon, cookies and drinks are available for a snack. Our room was comfortable and clean. We will definitely...

This Guest House ...or B&B....is our home away from home. We visit New Orleans twice a Year...spring and fall to see our children. They own a home in New Orleans but have pets that my husband is severely allergic too...thus we found the Park View. This is located across the side street from Audubon Park, across St. Charles from Tulane...

Love this place! It makes you feel special! the stairs tilt, the doors don't close quite right and some of the furniture has seen better times. But so have I! Friendly, comfortable and a little worn, but oh so glamorous and gracious You can beat the vibe, the staff and the wonderful breakfast !! Come back at the end of...

This place is amazing!! Loved our stay here!! We were looking to stay at a B&B for a birthday getaway weekend and really lucked out on this beautiful place! This place is wonderful! If you want to be pampered, check in to this beautiful bed and breakfast right next to Audubon Park. The house itself is well maintained with the common areas very luxurious. Check in was easy and quick and Susan toured us around the home and our room as if we were family. Our room was well...

Our friends invited us to join them for a long weekend to New Orleans and since they were staying here we decided to stay here too. We were lucky enough to get the last room available which was Room #21 on the 3rd floor. It had 2 Queen beds. The staff here were extremely helpful from giving us suggestions as...

Check in was smooth and our 2nd floor room accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. The charm and character in the room was magazine picturesque. Parking on the park side was convenient and accessible for us. When we returned after hours with keycard we sat in the parlor and drank sherry and wine that was left out. We slept so good...

We recently stayed here for the weekend and had a lovely experience- the house is beautiful, our room was welcoming, and the location is just about perfect. I prefer staying outside the Quarter and it was great to be literally next door to Audubon Park and right on the streetcar line with the stop right by the front door. (Parking...

Staying in Uptown / Carrollton

Neighbourhood Profile
Uptown / Carrollton
Very much their own self sufficient unit within the greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down the urban edge with a friendly attitude and collegiate feel. Home to Tulane and Loyola Universities, all the students living in the area ensure that Uptown and Carrollton stay youthful, cosmopolitan and vibrantly fun. Two of the liveliest thoroughfares for nightlife and socializing (and yes of course more of the city’s outstandingly good food and live music) are Oak Street and Maple Street. For a truly wild time, the expansive acreage of Audubon Park, with its zoo, golf course, and actual patches of swampy wetlands, means peace and quiet are never too far away.
