My wife and I were in New Orleans with another couple to see family and friends. We did not want to stay in the French Quarter and our friends suggested the Park View Guest House. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was perfect. The rooms have the ambiance of old New Orleans. Audubon Park is next door and...

Awesome Place in my own city. From the moment I walked in the door until I left I felt relaxed. Girls weekends are always fun but I wanted to stay more than a weekend. I will return over and over again.

Excellent property located in the heart of Uptown New Orleans. We very much enjoyed our stay while visiting family. I highly recommend Park View for anyone wanting to visit New Orleans. The hotel is very clean and tastefully furnished and the staff is very polite and helpful.

Once again I had the pleasure to stay at the Park View Guest House during 2015 Mardi Gras. Even though the place was hopping busy with all the guests, the staff kept my room and all the common areas spanking clean and were extraordinarily accommodating. I enjoyed the yummy breakfasts, which helped my gain the traditional "pound a day". According...

Having met the owner, a friend of a friend, I decided to book this for my brother and his wife during Jazz Fest. They could not have been more pleased. I spent time with them at Park View. Staying in Uptown / Carrollton

Neighbourhood Profile
Uptown / Carrollton
Very much their own self sufficient unit within the greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down the urban edge with a friendly attitude and collegiate feel. Home to Tulane and Loyola Universities, all the students living in the area ensure that Uptown and Carrollton stay youthful, cosmopolitan and vibrantly fun. Two of the liveliest thoroughfares for nightlife and socializing (and yes of course more of the city’s outstandingly good food and live music) are Oak Street and Maple Street. For a truly wild time, the expansive acreage of Audubon Park, with its zoo, golf course, and actual patches of swampy wetlands, means peace and quiet are never too far away.
