Service excellent! Best service from Jameson Warren and Tiara Jones. They are the best representation of professionals. Also would like to say That this team under supervisor Terrel Kelly is outstanding. Please let it be known that without these three employees help our trip would have been ruined. Again thank you Jameson Warren Tiara Jones and Terrel Kelly

I had a great experience at this hotel. My favorite part was the morning breakfast with Lisa, Raquel, Shanique and Rosa. The location of the hotel was great too. I had a conference and the convention center was only a walk away.

Lisa and Shanique, names on badges, are a refreshing start to my morning as I have breakfast and head off to my meeting. Excellent care and professional service. I will be back. If you are looking for hotel during the NFL games, stop here. I ask if I could take a pic, so sweet.

Every employee was helpful but Jameson Warren went above and beyond to help me at the Bistro. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool looked nice but I did not have a chance to swim. The location is great if you are doing something at the convention center.

Jameson and Tiara were awesome! Located close to the north end of the convention center. Great renovated rooms and the rest of the staff were great. Would recommend if you're in the area for a convention.

The Convention Center Courtyard is located on the site of a previous molasses factory giving it a different look. The location is great for anyone going to a convention or taking a cruise. Our room was clean and appointed well; something you expect in a Marriott property. Props to the housekeeping staff who cheerfully gave me coffee supplies. Like almost...

This was a great hotel to stay in. It was of a really good standard and the room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was filling and lovely . Staff were friendly and helpful. Lisa, Rosa, and Raquel will take care of whatever you need. Great service! Will be back next time I'm in town. The front desk was also very pleasant. Just be aware as they have valet parking only so be prepared to pay $35 for that. Overall it was an awesome stay.

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
