The location is very good, close to the new river walk outlet centre and the wwII museum. Duane and Greta are doing a fine job in the breakfast room, keeping all neat and tidy and making sure of timely refills.

The food and dining experience at the hotel was most enjoyable. Duane and Greta and staff were most gracious and hospitable. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious!! First rate! They did periodic checks on diners to be sure that we were having a good experience! The meal offered a variety of tastes, textures, and colors tgat insured there was...

I stayed here because of a recommendation from my friend (who was with me). I normally stay at another Marriott property around the corner. I am a Marriott Rewards member and I was little disappointed in some of the things that happened during my stay. I had two rooms and the rooms were well appointed suites. In one of the...

Greetings from New Orleans Residence Inn! Thank you for choosing to stay with us while in New Orleans! We want to sincerely apologize for the detractors that took away from your New Orleans experience. I can understand your frustrations in regards to your smoke detector and a squeaky bed. We would also like more information about the valet in order...

Outside of the parking I have ZERO complaints about this property. Location is great and close to everything only about a 30 minute walk to Frenchmen. Spacious rooms but where I got to especially give some love is Duane and Greta with breakfast it was delicious and very satisfying. But most of all they made us feel like family! Outstanding...

My family and I stayed here a few days and enjoyed our experience. We had a red eye flight in and were delighted that we were allowed to check in early! The front desk ladies were so sweet and did not blink an eye when we showed up at 6:30 am and told us our room was ready. It was...

Greta and Duane are excellent and deserve a raise. They are so kind and helped me clean my table and offered wonderful customer service. I will definitely be traveling back here just for the customer service. I'm staying 2 weeks and they made the stay enjoyable.

The breakfast was a good start to my day waffles, bacon, and yogurt. There was also eggs, sausage, toast, fruit, and bagels. Everyone in my party had something that they enjoyed. The cook Duane was very nice as well. He came by now than once to check on us and others who were dining.

We took a girls trip to New Orleans for some rest and relaxation and this was the perfect place to stay! Each morning there is a complimentary breakfast complete with eggs, sausage, pancakes/waffles, biscuits/cinnamon rolls, fruit, cereal, muffins, bagels, juice, and brie cheese. Plus on Mondays and Tuesdays there is free dinner and drinks! And free drinks on Wednesday. They...

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
