This hotel is situated close to everything. 1/2 block from Bourbon Street. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants, bars, and the Mississippi River. The guy at the desk named Aaron is very accommodating and attentive to our needs so look him up and the rest of the staff are so awesome! We definitely recommend this place!

Good place. Rooms have a bit of an older feel but everything is clean and nice. Half a block off Bourbon street. Had a room with a balcony and it was surprisingly quiet, even on the weekend. Front desk was very nice and helpful with me changing my dates of stay about 10 times. :)

This is a very clean hotel that is only steps off Burbon Street. The location can't be beat,. The rooms are clean for the most part. We found the vent above he sink outside the bathroom was very dirty. Also, one night when we were there someone pulled the fire alarm and the staff did not go room to room... More

We were lucky to be given an upgrade which was a suite so we had lots of room. Originally we were disappointed as the suite was on ground level and right on Toulouse St. however one night in the suite convinced us to stay as even though we were only a half block from Bourbon St the room was very... Who can't use a quick day trip to New Orleans? A girlfriend and I decided to do just that and chose to stay at Hotel St.Marie. Sight unseen, we made a GREAT choice. The hotel itself is located at Toulouse and Bourbon. VERY centrally located. However it was quiet in comparison to the hotels that sit directly on Bourbon St.... More

This hotel was a treasure! The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed on the first floor in the original part of the hotel and it was great, with a private courtyard shared by a few rooms. All of the staff was wonderful, warm and friendly and very accommodating. Our room maid, Adrianne, was friendly and efficient. It felt like... More

There was no one item about this hotel that ruined my stay, but there were a series of smaller things. The biggest issue was the cleanliness and the state of the room. The Good: This hotel is less than a block of Bourbon St, and in a very central location. It is also walking distance to anywhere in the french... More

Very clean and beautiful hotel at a great value. Unfortunately, negatives included finding a tiny roach in the bathroom as well as having conversations with a couple of staff members who made offensive and abrupt comments. I would recommend better oversight by management of staff interactions with customers.

This hotel is steps from Bourbon St. and all the action of the French Quarter. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms, but the room was a little small. Paint was slightly peeling on the ceiling in the shower. Great rates, $89/night!

Spent three nights here visiting NOLA. Fabulous location in the center of the French Quarter and one block off Bourbon St. Despite the rowdy night antics the hotel rooms are quiet and very safe. Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
