Great staff! The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Good location within walking distance of everything. Nice breakfast included until late morning, which was wonderful as you don't feel rushed. Wil most definitely return to this hotel next time we are in the area! :)

Beautiful hotel! Literally steps away from busy Bourbon Street, good eats, and gift shops. Parking was a snap, and all of the staff are great at being helpful. The breakfast was delicious as well. Our room was beautiful and looked out into the courtyard. Very clean hotel for the doors of the rooms to open into the outdoors.

Very convenient to the Quarter. Breakfast is very nice. Near bars, restaurants and Jackson Square. Car was retrieved quickly when calling valet. Front desk made copies of paperwork that I needed. Courtyard in attractive.

I stayed one night at the Marazin, the location is great for tourists. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, the only problem I had was the walls were very thin so we were woken up around 6am to people using their bathrooms or talking. The free breakfast is very simple. Don't expect anything special. Apart from that...

I had a wonderful time at the Hotel Mazarin. All the staff were very helpful and the complimentary breakfast was great also. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable with plush pillows. Security to the hotel in the evening is important to staff and you are checked in with your key by security after hours. I had...

I was traveling with my daughter. I had not been to New Orleans since 2000. I was disappointed to see how filthy the French Quarter was. My daughter was propositioned several times. I would not recommend staying in the French Quarter. The hotel was clean and lovely, this rating is purely for the location. Our room was very musty but...

This hotel is a jewel in the French quarter. We had the lovely petite suite (325) and were so pleased with the interior courtyard view, décor, comfort, cleanliness, service and quietness -- the latter being not a given in the neighborhood. Miss Julia and all the support staff and those at the front desk were so welcoming and accommodating. The...

Beautiful hotel that is well maintained and kept clean. Housekeeping management checks daily to make sure rooms are cleaned. WIFI and air conditioning work well. Walls are a bit thin, but part of the boutique hotel charm and ambience. Knowledgeable staff provides great restaurant and travel tips. Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
