The hotel's location is ideal. The included morning breakfast was very good. Our room was spacious and nice. But extra supplies of tissues and toilet paper should be left in the room. We faced the courtyard which was noisy on two nights due to bar activity and a wedding. This woke us.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Mazarin over New Years. Overall, good hotel. Pros: Clean and spacious rooms, good breakfast included. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Cons: The bed wasn't the most comfortable and our TV had some issues. It it located between Bourbon & Royal Streets which was great for walking around and touring, but we could...

Stayed here for a quick trip to New Orleans with family. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do while visiting. Rooms were clean and luxurious. Breakfasts were delicious, and the coffee was REAL French roast. The perfect way to start the day.

The hotel has a charming old-world atmosphere, but the guest rooms are still modern and comfortable. The included breakfast is very good, and both bars are great. The location is perfect, with great restaurants and nightlife is easy walking distance. We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is right in the French quarter, it's a stones throw away from bourbon street which can be both a good or bad thing depending on how you see it. Every touristy thing is within walking distance from the hotel. The street is never empty at night but bourbon can be very rowdy with lots of drunk people. Hotel...

This was a bday trip gift for my husband. Hotel Mazarin is the best of both worlds. The hotel is steps away from all the action of bourbon st. You are in the action and at the same time you can retreat to the hotel and it surprisingly is quiet and calm. The hotel is kept very clean and they...

If you want to stay in the quarter , this is a great location. The front desk staff is a bit dull. The servers in the breakfast area are lovely. Bar Vin attached to the hotel is fun and cozy. Despite a few glitches, we had a great stay

The location, room, staff, and facilities were wonderful but the guests were so noisy in the courtyard it was hard to sleep (sounded like they were in our room yelling). It was only quiet from about 3AM to 7AM.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
