This hotel was recommended by a friend. It is easy to find and a very polite and courteous staff. The breakfast was included daily. The courtyard was beautiful! The room quality was excellent. The rooms were big and spacious with 2 sinks and a large shower. It is between Bourbon and Royal St so you have quick access to Canal...

the room is really clean, service is amazing! it's in the middle of french quarter so we can walk every where easily. it's only a block away from bourbon street, but our room facing the french quarter was not noisy at all in the middle of the night. however, the noise from people walking out the elevator is kinda annoying.

excellent location along with excellent facility. While the rooms aren't the biggest, they are VERY nice. Location couldn't be any better, 3 minutes off of Bourbon Street, but still a very quite location. Morning breakfast was great, staff was excellent to talk with and get information on the city from. Would highly recommend.

The hotel is in a great location in the French Quarter, just off Bourbon St. It is within easy walking distance to local attractions. The rooms were well appointed, clean and very well maintained with high-quality linens. Free access to a fast internet service and breakfast each day were a bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here! I was at a conference down on Canal Street, but preferred this location, which was all of a four minute walk from the conference. The hotel is beautiful. The staff exceptional. Loved the breakfast in the courtyard. Super nice. Easy to get to dinner options in the Quarter after the conference. Really glad I...

Hotel Mazarin was lovely! From the champagne and chocolate covered strawberries when we arrived to the amazing breakfast every morning we had a lovely stay. Close enough to all the major attractions in New Orleans French Quarter, but far enough away from crazy Bourbon street to avoid the noise!

This hotel feels secluded once you step in. Very nice atmosphere, you feel welcome the minute you arrive. The rooms are small but very adequate. I love all of the private nooks through out the property.

Great location and a wonderful stay, breakfast was good and had some quality choices too! The stay was a good value with the large rooms and breakfast included. There also was a welcome beverage voucher when we stayed! Like all properties in New Orleans parking is pricey but it was too be expected, overall great experience!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
