I can't say enough good stuff about this hotel. The location is very central in the French Quarter. It doesn't take more than 15 minutes to walk anywhere in the French Quarter. It is close to Bourbon street so you can easily walk and see the craziness but far enough away that the noise won't interrupt your sleep. The price...

Good location and clean rooms. Bit of a mix up with reservations but all worked to make it right. Worked well for us. Quiet rooms away from the heavy traffic areas. A couple of safe friendly pubs close by. Easy to get to trollies but not much food close.

The Inn on St. Peter is so damn romantic, so utterly cozy and quaint and so rich in hospitality. Judging by the floor-plan, we stayed in one of the smaller rooms (#17) but it had everything we needed, wanted and then some. The then some are the French doors that open to the balcony which provides you a sense that...

If you're looking for a charming, relaxing and affordable hotel in the French Quarter, this is it. My husband and I stayed here Jan. 31st - Feb. 3rd, 2017 and were quite pleased with the accommodations. The rooms are small but very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the 17th-century architecture, especially...

In the Heart of the French Quarter, but far enough away from the action to get some sleep (If you wanted to). A very homey feel at this place, with a warm and welcoming staff. A very short 2 block trot from the full blown, bead throwing, public partying Bourbon St. Definitely wished that I had microwave to complete the...

Inn on St. Peter has all the necessary amenities to make your trip to New Orleans fun-filled and relaxing. It gave us a feeling of a home away from home. The only thing missing was a microwave :( but we got over it!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
