Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

We chose this location for our long weekend getaway to New Orleans with friends and we were happy with the choice. The location on Canal St. is great. It’s a convenient walk to many restaurants, Bourbon Street, and Jackson Square. The only downside to this hotel was how loud and

Had a very good time at the hotel. They have made some nice upgrades recently and it shows. We stayed there Friday through Sunday and enjoyed our time in the city.

As well the restaurant offers some very nice food. We had the gumbo and BBQ chicken pizza and both were very good.

Attended a 4 day conference. First day the hotel did not have power nor water pressure, in some cases no water. Long lines to check in so I waited until evening. They told me that they arranged for me to stay at the Sheraton until power back on. No bellman to help with luggage n

Your better off staying some were else unless you dont mind paying 50.00 dollars a night for parking. A lot of other hotels offer free parking for their guests. I have found it cheaper to stay further away from Bourbon Street and take an Uber and save the money.

Does this hotel provide shuttle service to and from the airport?
I am not sure at all. We scheduled our own transportation service to and from. But if you contact the hotel, they will be more than happy to help. One of our guest needed a mobile scooter for the trip and the hotel recommended a company to us that we used.

Can someone tell me what parking is for this hotel - cost, where, etc. Thanks in advance!
In New Orleans you don’t need a car but answering your question is $35 per night , not worth it , to expensive.

Does anyone know how the pool is? I haven't seen anyone say anything about it in the reviews.
Never went to the pool. When we were there, it was not pool weather.
