Justin at check in was very sweet and informative. Happy to help us find what we needed. I paid a pretty high price for what I thought was a suite. The room has great potential but is definitely not a suite and not worth the price I paid. There were terrible stains on the carpets and the beds were kinda...

Very pretty, clean and quiet hotel. The court yards feel like classic New Orleans. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Whoever it was that made the coffee every morning makes a damn good cup of coffee. It's close to everything yet far enough from the noise. I was traveling alone and I felt safe. I would definitely stay at...

We stayed here for 5 days. It was in a very quiet area, but the location was very convenient. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The hot breakfast was a very nice way to start the day. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room did not have a window, but on our next stay,...

Save you money and stay somewhere cheaper. Seldom in the room, soooooooo much to do in the area!!! Adorable, old hotel!! Rooms are in cottages with 2 rooms so it was very loud when the neighbors would come home late or leave early. Housekeeping did not clean rooms on a daily basis. Breakfast was not good. Location is perfect in...

We were in town for Jazz Fest, and had booked this as part of a package. Let me state that housekeeping is very lax. Our room never was made up properly. 2x not at all. Never was vacuumed. Beds never changed, and despite speaking with everyone (manager and "head of housekeeping") never had the right amount of towels. We were...

We came for jazz fest to stay for a few nights. First of all, we paid almost $300 per night to stay at this hotel, so we expected something that was similar at least to the some of the pictures that were on their website. No!! Not at all. We were put in a horrible room that didn't have a...

I have never stayed in a hotel so disgusting in my life! The sheets had menstrual stains, the blanket and comforter were dirty, there was a huge dip in the mattress, and the room was infested with cockroaches! We didn't sleep at all and made reservations to move to a different hotel at 3 o'clock in the morning.

We stayed two nights at this B&B well located in the quarter...an easy walk to French Market or Royal Street shops. There are several room types and 2 small pools. Do look at your room to be sure location is o.k.. The breakfasts were satisfactory, if not gourmet, but considering the cost, the food was fine! The desk personnel were...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
