We recently stayed at the Hotel St Pierre on Burgundy Street in the French Quarter, and really enjoyed the 'cottage' feel to the premises. The rooms were small, but cozy and contained all that was needed during our stay. Even though the occupancy was relatively high, it never felt crowded or rushed. The staff were very friendly, and extremely accommodating.... More

This hotel is an absolute gem, full of character in its well appointed heritage buildings, superbly located in the heart of the French Quarter. Staff are very friendly and helpful. One of the buildings making up the hotel complex dates from the 1770s.

My boyfriend and I received a deal for 3 nights in NOLA in exchange for participating in a local timeshare presentation. We paid $149 and we were assigned to this hotel. I was really excited to stay in the French Quarter; the location is perfect as you're away from the noise of bourbon street, but still in a generally safe... More

I absolutely loved my stay here. Justin was the host with MOST! The pools were smaller but suitable for relaxing and cooling off. The rooms are a bit "historic" but felt good. I was far enough from the hustle and bustle to get a good nights sleep, ( although, I don't recommend sleeping in New Orleans!!! Stay awake and enjoy... More

I booked this room through Blue Green Vacations, so I got a pretty good deal on the rate...since I had to sit through a time share presentation. I don't know how much it would have cost normally, but I absolutely LOVED staying at this hotel. I was not sure what to expect, since the picture of the outside entrance is... More

Very nice accommodation, great location in the heart of the French quarter and very helpful staff! Have to recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to experience the real New Orleans. It's in walking distance of Jackson square and the French market, St.Louis cemetery and Louis Armstrong park.

Was told when I booked through Blue/Green that valet parking would be $38. When I arrived, I was told by the hotel that the parking was $45 due to a special event weekend. I paid for valet parking, being told that when I needed/wanted my truck, just present the ticket. The following morning when I was needing to go to... More

My family enjoyed using this hotel as our base during a multi-day trip to NOLA. We had two rooms for the five of us; both had comfortable beds and updated bathrooms. This is an older hotel so don't expect everything to be modern. It is a substantial climb up two flights of steep stairs for some rooms. Glad we heeded... More

The hotel os location is perfect, walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. The rooms are small kinda reminds me of hotels I've stayed in Europe. The only con was we could hear housekeeping early in the morning. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit NOLA.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

On the National Register of Historic Places, the Hotel St. Pierre, with its authentic French Colonial cottages dating back to the 1700's, embodies the architecture, romance, and ambiance of a bygone era. Contributing greatly to the hotel's charm is the relaxed atmosphere of this quiet residential section of the French Quarter. One would never guess its proximity to world class dining, culture, and the lively nightlife of Bourbon Street. Secluded lush tropical courtyards, balconies, pools, and fountains help make this the perfect spot for a family vacation, romantic escape, or storybook wedding, as well as for incentive trips, reunions, and family vacations.
