The location was perfect for those wanting to spend time in the French Quarter. The staff was also extremely friendly; the lobby, pools and hotel room were clean; and the continental breakfast each morning was terrific. As far as the actual room, I'd recommend bringing earplugs as the walls are extremely thin. We could hear our neighbors snoring, their conversations,...

Loved the old hotel with quaint charm and history. Room was nice, breakfast good and loved the old "New Orleans" style. Excellent location. 2 blocks from Bourbon St. Easy access to trolley. The best part was the friendly, helpful and polite staff. Southern hospitality at it's best. Specials thanks to Krystal Foster and Jamal Martin. Would go back in a...

This hotel was amazing and very affordable. We were a couple blocks from the french quarters. walking distance. we visited the cemeteries and drove 20 minutes to the lower garden district. They serve breakfast in the morning and they have amazing service! Our room was fashioned with the beautiful New Orleans character on the outside, inside is a room and...

Bed lumpy and noisy. Doors let in wind. Charming but conditions not acceptable for almost $400. I was expecting some character but not the difficulty. The staff were great in any case. We cut our visit short.

The staff were very friendly. A very nice Hotel. The location is very central and in the French Quarter. Although the Hotel in in the French W\Quarter, it is very quiet. The area is also safe. The restraunts and and a small grocery store are very7 near the hotel.

The architecture of the historical buildings enables to live the atmosphere of the French quarter from the Inside. The hotel is situated right in the French quarter so its location is perfect to visit the quarter. It is very quiet in a dynamic area.

Because I was traveling alone with my 14 year old, I wanted a spot where we could walk to the hustle and bustle, but also where we could sleep! This spot was perfect. The hotel is in an older building, so be prepared for brick walkways and frequent steps. For us, this all added to the charm of this unique...

The Hotel St. Pierre is located in a quiet section of the French quarter, just minutes away from vibrant Burbon street. The staff is great, breakfast is good. Rooms vary in quality and, I'm sure, in cleanliness. Our room located a yard away from the street wasn't always quiet (noise made by cars and garbage collectors at night). Our bed...

We were a family of 10 and it was wonderful. Krystal at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable we did not want to leave. That goes for the entire staff, all friendly and knowledgeable. A great location and I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

On the National Register of Historic Places, the Hotel St. Pierre, with its authentic French Colonial cottages dating back to the 1700's, embodies the architecture, romance, and ambiance of a bygone era. Contributing greatly to the hotel's charm is the relaxed atmosphere of this quiet residential section of the French Quarter. One would never guess its proximity to world class dining, culture, and the lively nightlife of Bourbon Street. Secluded lush tropical courtyards, balconies, pools, and fountains help make this the perfect spot for a family vacation, romantic escape, or storybook wedding, as well as for incentive trips, reunions, and family vacations. “We got a small bedroom with one King. It was really small for two people but adequately. Next time, I will choose a larger bedroom with two queens. The continental breakfast was more than we bargained for...hot scrambled eggs, either bacon or sausage, pancakes and great coffee!! Service was always friendly and very helpful!”

“There are so many different areas, even across the street, it's impossible to see them all. We're planning a return visit, requesting a room in the 140-150 area, but I'm sure there are many others just as attractive.”
