I completely felt at home with the staff. The staff made me feel welcomed and wanted. I didn't expect to feel that way by a hotel staff, but the St. Philip Hotel staff treats you like family! Tyler, Chris, June, and Lori are some of the nicest people I have met in a really long time.

Loved our stay! So much personality...but very comfy too. Loved looking at all the art. Bed was really comfortable. Location was perfect...right in the French Quarter. There's a lock on the gate, so I felt safe. The only negatives I could find were that the water pressure seemed a little low and there was no elevator and we were on...

If funky ambience isn't your thing, skip the St. Philip Hotel. Harmless but annoying pan handlers hanging in front of the hotel hassled guests. Can't beat the great courtyard, street front balconies, and access to French Quarter attractions.

Wonderful experience. The staff was great and the hotel is funky and eclectic. The rooms have all you need. It has a nice New Orleans charm and was a good spot for my one night. The air conditioner was a little noisy, but nothing serious.

Adult family trip _ needed place for 3 adults in 1 hotel room. This hotel has 2 room and living room. Also full kitchen. They had a comfortable cot placed in the living room and we each had our own living space. Worked out well in a good location in the French quarter. No other hotel nearby could do this....

Booked this hotel as a last minute surprise. 5 year anniversary. Was higher than normal but only because of the holiday. Courtyard was awesomely decorated and the people were extremely nice. Will def make a visit back to this hotel. They don't have parking but, the Chateau hotel across the street will allow you to park in their lot for...

The Parking is far away and in a Prepay city parking facility that was 10 blocks away. A/c did not work but they were immediately attentive. However they never got it working very well at all. Convenience to Bourbon street is great.

The Saint Philip hotel was in a great location in the French quarter. We were only two blocks from Bourbon Street, but it wasn't too loud at night. We were within walking distance of everywhere that we wanted to go, including Jackson Square and all the bars on Bourbon Street.

Awesome location, easy walk to the French market and all of downtown. Our only complaint was about the person above us, there was constant tapping on the floor; it sounded like a dog that was constantly scratching itself and it would go on until 3 or 4 in the morning- making it very difficult to fall asleep; the noises didn't...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
