Stayed here on Halloween weekend with my wife and had an enjoyable time. The staff are very polite, helpful with any recommendations you need, but are not intrusive at all. The room we had was nice and well taken care of. This place is also in a great neighborhood to go walking and see some fantastic old homes. A morning...

Everything about our stay was a "10" - from being greeted by Tom at arrival with loads of information, to fresh breakfast every morning cooked by Patricia, we could not have been more pleased. They have thoughtful touches throughout including an honor bar for refreshment and fresh baked goods when you come home after a busy day of sightseeing. The...

I am sorry it has taken so long to do this review. We were here March 22, 2014. I have to say that when we come back to Louisiana this will be our place. It's wonderful and the owners were amazing. Rooms, staff, food, all great. I will come back here again soon, Maison Perrier has my absolute thumbs up...

We had a family reunion of 12 people this August and everyone stayed at Maison Perrier. It is a charming B & B and the hosts are charming also. This was our second stay and we hope to be able to return.

We stayed at Maison Perrier back in late October '15 on part of our honeymoon roadtrip and been meaning to write a review since. We stayed four nights and wish we could move in forever! Tom and Patricia's hospitality was second to none and everything about the place was perfect. It has been seven months and I'm still craving the...

Thank you Charlotte for the great review. We are glad that we could help make your honeymoon memorable. I think that we gave you the recipe for the almond croissant french toast, but if not, just drop us an email and we'll send it to you. We hope to see you again whenever you travel back this way!

We booked this lovely B & B based on our experience in 2014. This time we stayed twice before and after our daughters wedding and booked rooms for ourselves and our son. We stayed in the Bea room for the first part of our trip and the Pamela for the second. Our son was booked into Claudette. All rooms were...

Places like Maison Perrier make traveling more fun and a little easier. The owners, Tom and Patricia, made us feel like we were home during our time there. In fact, when I was booking our room, Tom spent about 45 minutes on the phone with me, offering suggestions on places to eat and things to do. The location within a...

Tom is a fountain of information for both restaurants and entertainment in NOLA, which he adjusts for your interest. Breakfast - Fresh fruit and plain greek yogurt were perfect. Hot selections, which are plated, were okay, would not call it a great culinary experience. Microwave and fridge available 24/7. Front porch and balcony are accessable to all rooms! Please note:...

We stayed 3 nights in the Rose room over a holiday weekend which we booked with only a month notice. We felt lucky to get this last room available. Very well set up and very welcoming. Very good breakfast. The owner, Tom, was extremely helpful with suggestions and booking restaurants, which were needed for this time. We would come back...

We loved our two night stay in the Pearl Room at Maison Perrier. First, the welcome by Tom was gracious and very helpful, with his sharing of highlights in the Touro part of the Garden District and restaurants around Magazine Street. Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
