Stayed here twice now. I like the location and the service and staff are ok. Just needs to step up to be at the higher end. Floors in the room feel cheap. Bathroom door is trying to be cute but doesn't close all the way....More
This is the best hotel we've stayed at in New Orleans - and we've stayed in a few! It's on the edge of the French Quarter so it's close to the action, but it's really nice and quiet. Really comfortable rooms with great bathrooms -...More
The hotel was very jazzy and modern. It's a European concept hotel and AC is for the developer. Rooms were clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. Walking distance to the Super dome or even the French Quarter.
We spent Labor Day weekend in NOLa for my husbands birthday. Our adult son joined us. After reading reviews was not sure what to think about our room, we were pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable, the bathroom was set up for privacy. The staff was very...More
The hotel is in a very good location in terms of proximity to Bourbon and Canal streets (as in one block away). The hotel is ultra modern and the hallways feel very 'cold' and dark. When I say cold I do not mean temperature. Some...More

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
