We absolutely loved our stay at the Lion's Inn. Celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary in such a wonderful locale that offered everything and then some. It was truly a blessing all things were in divine order - an oasis that truly allowed us a stress...More
The Lion's Inn has accomodated my guests and I for two very special events we've held in New Orleans. Both times they have been absolutely wonderful for making us feel welcome and helping out with the arrangements and planning for our events.

A very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing retreat within walking distance of the French Quarter. They offer complimentary bikes for those who are interested as well as an complimentary wine and cheese hour. The pool, garden, and pond area is well-maintained and very enjoyable.
a quiet small and clean retreat where u feel safe and comfortable and with the jazz and restaurants close by in Marigny you do not need to go to the French Qtr every nite ... and Ed is most cordial and gracious.
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.

We shared a bathroom while there. Not a problem at all - there was a gentleman in another room that shared but was only there one day and we never crossed paths. Actually, a couple of rooms with private bathrooms had the bathroom outside their room anyway. I would use shared on next visit again. Loved it there
