Everyone was very friendly but elevators were confusing and only half of them were operational. Housekeeping staff was subpar. Some room supplies were not replenished on a daily basis but things were clean, just not alot of attention to detail.

Only downfall is no hot tub and location was a walk to Bourbon and Frenchman, but not too bad. Overall, this hotel is amazing. I would recommend if looking for nice hotel away from action, but short walk.

I was here on business in September 2016 for a conference. The property is huge. There are plenty of conference rooms for large lectures as well as many smaller rooms for interactive demos and presentations. The hotel itself is dated but the rooms are of good size and well kept. The water pressure could be better in the showers. The...

My wife and I have never ever been treated so badly in any hotel in the world, not just Hyatt properties. We came on Tuesday tge 14th. Had checked in online. Got into hotel around 4:00 PM. Room on the conceirge floor not ready and not available. Got a nice two room suite, although the large end room seemed never...

Great place to stay. Convenient to stadium. Easy to get to French quarter. Main restaurant, Borgne had wonderful fried oysters and different cocktails. Staff was wonderful. Convenient to many other surrounding places to eat.

The location is fine. Everything else is average to below average. You can't get breakfast for under $30. Housekeeping missed two days. Two days! im just not sure why anyone would choose NOLA for a meeting and if so, why here. Overpriced and overrated.

Over all avery confusing hotel with poor front dest staff. Room was not available on time and even though they told us they would contact us when it was ready no one did. The layout of the floors is difficult to navigate making the conference difficult. The food and drinks are poor quality and over priced. The room was fine...

The hotel is modern and it was a great place to have a conference. Staff members were helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. The hotel is within walking distant to many NOLA attractions. I would definitely enjoy staying here again.

I checked in on a Saturday night, and the noise level was unacceptable. The rest of the week was okay, until the following weekend, when the hotel slid a note under the door and warned me about the upcoming noise level. They provided ear plugs. Instead of the ear plugs, I slept with my TV on. I don't believe I...

The entrance is strange since you need two elevators. However it is nice. Elevators also have a system with outside door floor determination. Is for many customers confusing. The rooms are great and few from 27th floor is excellent at least from 2729. One minor issue is the water on the tap of the water supply is not positioned well,...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
