Good locationwise for my conference, but I would have rather stayed in a less touristy area if I were traveling for fun. My room and my friend's room had fake windows which was good for sleeping in but not for productivity. Comfortable, but I am not sure it is worth the price.

Very clean room and bathroom. Bathroom was plenty big and nice, but the room was very small. It had a King bed. It was a pain to move around by myself. Really too tight for two people. Bed was firm which I like. The climate control worked well and was fairly quite. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I...

The hotel was clean and quiet. The location was great. The St. Charles Street street car stop was right there and the Canal Street street car was right around the corner. All the places we went to were within walking distance - Cafe du Monde, outlet stores, Harrah's and the Superdome.

Not the most fanciest... perfect for a quick getaway. King rooms are kinda small with really small windows. Very clean and you must request housekeeping which was different. It's steps away from Bourbon st. OVERALL A GREAT LOCATION

The overall experience was very nice. The rooms are clean. The staff was very cordial and knowledgeable. It was a bit noisy outside of the hotel due to the streetcar I thought I was back in Chicago, sounded like the ale (train). Overall experience was good.

Didn't like location of TV, you couldn't watch the tv from the couch. The layout seemed rather awkward, the bathroom was right in the middle of the room. Location was good, short walk to bourbon st. The staff was awesome, very welcoming and helpful. Was clean and nice other then those few things.

My stay at this hotel was simply fantastic . From the moment I stepped in the revolving doors the staff was ready and available to meet all of my needs. The concierge was most helpful . Our group was simply starving when we got off the train so he sent us to the nearest restaurant

No Parking on Premise. Four blocks to hotels, recommended Parking Garage. Observed Valets, abusing vehicles. Pre check in, then had to wait 15 minutes to check in later. Only one staff person to check in customers.

Dear 103donaldw - We apologize for the service experienced upon arrival. I would greatly appreciate it if you could please contact me to discuss what was perceived as valet not caring for vehicles properly. That is something we would want to act upon very swiftly. We have never had that complaint before and have security measures to review and correct...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
