My first time in NOLA made even better by our stay here. The location, the staff and the rooms all made for a fun and safe 'mother/daughter' weekend. So much so...we will make this an annual event and will definitely return to Renaissance New Orleans Pere Marquette!

First of all, the people who work here are lovely. Friendly and helpful. The rooms are average; the bathrooms a bit less than that. But the location is ideal. Just a short walk from Canal and street cars to everywhere. The tv service didn't work to catch the Grammys. It's quiet and safe and clean. Good water pressure in the...

The location is great very close to the action on bourbon street but also on a side street so it's fairly quiet. The lobby is recently updated but the rest of the hotel could use an update. It's clean but just dated and a renaissance usually has a bit more quality.

Beautiful place. Right around the corner from Canel and Bourbon st. Staff are amazing. Very quiet. Fridge in room. Highly advise to do mobile check in (by doing so we were able to check in by noon {4hrs before normal check in}). From airport $33 utilizing Uber. Would return again

I am still staying at the hotel and finally went back to my original reservation to see what I was promised. The hotel "club level room" is suppose to be on a secure access floor. They boast great view of the city. I am on floor 8 facing the apartment across the street of a young couple's kitchen. Everyone has...

We were there for the Rock n Roll Half Marathon, the team at the hotel were great! Especially Yvette and Lam on arrival. So helpful and welcoming. It's a party town so be prepared for noise from the streets. Would stay again!

They updated the lobby but the rooms were quite outdated and tired looking. The amenities lacked terribly. The curtains were broken. The hotel gave the impression that you were somewhere very low end. We checked out JW just down the street and for less money it was so much nicer. Most of the hotel staff were very nice but we...

We just stayed here for one night before a cruise. The rooms are nice and the location is excellent. The standout though is the staff. The friendliest doormen ever. Late checkout? Sure, no problem. Super accommodating. Definitely recommend.

We stayed one night in early January. GREAT valet and bellman on PM shift. Nice decor in lobby/lounge area. Bathroom needed some attention. It was clean however, it definitely showed some aging. great restaurant options in walking distance

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days. It was one of the nicest places we ever stayed. The front desk and doormen were so great, very helpful and attentive. Our room was quiet and spacious. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
