I would highly recommend this hotel for those who want to be close to all the action and not spend half of their walking from Canal street to get to the action on Bourbon Street. The interiors are very tastefully decorated and are like new. Very quiet for good sleeping yet only a couple of blocks from Bourbon Street.

I stayed there with my family towards the end of August. We checked in very late in the evening due to the timings of our flight but there was someone there at reception when we arrive and was an easy check in. The staff were always very friendly and helped us with our questions about the city. The room was...

Best western landmark This is our second stay at this hotel and the high standards they set have not diminished one bit for us. The hotel staff are so helpful and friendly. This property is on North Rampart Street which is the northern border of the French Quarter. The neighboring buildings are worn and some are really run down so the motel doesn't try to look imposing from the street but once you step inside it is as posh as the expensive hotels on Canal Street. It has a pool and a...

Located at the border of French quarter provide a good starting point for your visits iin New Orleans. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Beautiful, clean, quiet (which is hard in the French quarter). Rooms were small but fit 3 adults fine. Courtyard was stunning! Within walking distance of everything in the French quarter (including Bourbon St, Jackson Square and such) Staff gave great recommendations for food and provided a map and directions. As well as have us...

Great room and location, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful courtyard and pool. Peaceful and quiet for being in such a busy city. They gave us a great recommendation for pizza. Enough room and space to comfortably fit 3 adults. Gave us a map and directions. Very pleased with this hotel and will definitely book for future trips.

We so enjoyed our stay. The fabulous courtyard was relaxing and beautiful. Our room was gorgeous! The decor and ambiance lent the feel of true New Orleans. The staff were both friendly and helpful in hotel services as well as local information. The location was ideal for touring the French Quarter. We look forward to our return!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
