Location location location! Right in the French quarter on Bourbon St! Nice hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms. The only drawback was that our 5th floor room didn't have a balcony overlooking Bourbon St. Ear plugs were provided but not needed. Would surely stay here again!

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 4 February 2017

This hotel is right mid-way along Bourbon Street and is worth the money, in my opinion. I've stayed here for 45 nights over the last few years and I can not imagine a more comfortable experience - the beds, in particular, are incredible. Being on Bourbon, the noise from the bar bands, street celebrations, and parties can be heard to...

We stayed here for three nights. Hotel is right on Bourbon Street so the location in the French Quarter is good. Hotel lobby and staff are excellent. However, we were very disappointed with our room - small window, no refrigerator or microwave and the bathroom was extremely small. If you go, ask for a room with a balcony. We didn't...

This hotel has a very nice lobby and a friendly staff. We were on the second floor facing the street. We wondered why we had ear plugs on the night stand, and soon found out. The music and noise goes on for most of the night. But the music was the kind I like, so I didn't mind. If I...

The hotel is beautiful, well-appointed and clean. The pool and courtyard area is quiet and relaxing. There are some oddities as it is in a historical building - small, closet like french doors to the bathroom with no locks, old slow elevator but overall a great choice if you want to stay in the craziness of it all.

Nice hotel. Comfy room. It was difficult to find a route to the parking garage some days because streets are blocked off, but that is a minor complaint. You should know that if you have a room on the Bourbon Street side that it's loud - really loud. But to me, this is part of the NOLA experience.

I stayed at the Four Points Sheraton for a solo trip to NOLA; I wanted to be somewhere central and convenient. This hotel is both! Very nice (but smallish) room at the back of the hotel, so I didn't hear much from Bourbon Street and didn't need to use the earplugs. Nice huge TV and room service cooked some delicious...

Same hotel, same great location, same great bed and incredibly comfortable pillows. So how can the review of my second stay here drop down to one star after previously according this hotel five stars on my other visit? Easy, room service, or better stated, lack thereof. We were there for three nights. On our second day, we headed out early...

This hotel was great. It's right in the middle of the action. Our room was on the backside of the hotel so we heard no noise from bourbon street. However, they provide ear plugs just in case. Our room was big and nicely decorated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My only issue was that they took down the wrong...

We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It is right in the middle of the action and nothing is too far away. We walked everywhere we wanted to go in the FQ. The streetcars on Canal are a quick walk away as well. We booked a courtyard room but were given a Toulouse balcony room....

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
