Clean, friendly, lovely boutique hotel in perfect spot of French Qtr. Beds were heavenly, staff was super kind only drawback was hot water pressure in shower. Other than that a 5. Hotel is contemporary with colors of Madi Gras, loved the decor.

My husband and I stayed here for a quick two-day visit to NOLA, and loved it. The staff were wonderful - so helpful, and with great recommendations on places to go. Our room was cozy and quiet. The bed was SO comfortable that it was hard to get up in the morning. Located just around the corner from Bourbon street...

Room was good size and well-appointed and clean! (We had to request change to larger room from first one offered -- like restaurants always want to seat you in the worst location, unless you protest.) Beautiful lounge and courtyard. Perhaps most important are the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff, from housekeepers to front desk. We will return!

Our experience at Hotel Le Marais was perfect. Our room faced the back, so it was quiet, as well as very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. I loved the modern bathroom with the shower versus a tub/shower combination. The pool was perfect and very warm considering it got down into the 40s at night. The staff was friendly and...

Great location, close to Royal, Bourbon, restaurants, shopping, etc. You can walk to just about anything from this location - Jackson Square, French Market, Frenchmen Street, plus there's a nice, compfy bar inside the hotel. Excellent!

The room was nice and spacious - much larger than our last hotel room in New Orleans. The front desk staff were friendly and always helpful. Great bar! Modern furnishings. Awesome location - just close enough to Bourbon St without being too obnoxious.

We spent three nights here and it was wonderful! The staff was very helpful and kept a very clean hotel. My husband and I stayed in a courtyard facing room on the 3rd floor. LOVED this hotel. LOVED the staff. Loved the location. Loved the room. Loved the courtyard. Loved everything. Rooms were well appointed, and quiet. As a virgo... I am a serious clean freak. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le Marais immensely. Beautiful rooms, charming bar and outdoor pool area. The breakfast was basic with the eggs cold and hard. The entire staff was amazing and the location is perfect! A short walk to Jackson Sq, Bourbon St, the trolley and great restaurants.

Hotel very comfortable, well fitted out, and very close to the action of Bourbon Street, but without the noise. Friendly and obliging staff. Complimentary buffet breakfast was adequate without being indulgent. Would happily stay here again, when next we visit NO

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
