French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

Very close to Bourban St but quiet even in its courtyard. The front desk employees are all pleasant. Average breakfast although it’s free so we were ok w/ it. My only complaint is the street smelled like garbage everyday we were there. You can see that they are washing it but it

I recently stayed at Hotel Le Marais during a New Orleans vacation. Not knowing the area, I wanted to be near Bourbon Street, but not so close that noise would keep me awake. This is the place. Close to everything (1/2 block), but quiet when you want to sleep. Every aspect of

The Hotel Marais made a great location to stay for our first trip to NOLA. The location was excellent and the configuration of the hotel allowed us to have a balcony room facing the courtyard, so we had no issues with outside noise and a wonderful rooftop view of the French

Many 3rd party sites make note of a $50 "deposit" or "charge." What this is, is an authorization on your credit card for incidentals. That is $50 per night staying with us and is authorized on your credit card upon arrival. This authorization is there if you decided to charge anything to the room such as drinks from the bar, valet parking, in room movies, etc. Upon departure this authorization is released back to your credit card. It can take up to 10 business days to reflect the "refund" of this depending you your banking establishment and its communication with our system. If you are using an international card this "refund" can take longer to show, in some cases up to 30 days. I hope this answers your question and any follow up questions you may have. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in New Orleans.

Our bathrooms are separate rooms from the bed room area. The Bathroom contains the sink, the toilet, and the Shower that has a frosted glass divider. The shower has a half shower opening, meaning the entrance is in the rear of the shower area and does not close leaving the shower open. The Bathroom also has a door for privacy. I hope this answers your question.
