The Hampton Inn is in a very convenient location, within walking distance of the French Quarter and the Central Business District, but without as much noise and bustle as those areas. The rooms and clean and well-decorated. The breakfast was included and featured a great selection. The staff were great. The doorman recognized and welcomed my mom and I when...

The accommodations were excellent, as well as the staff! The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. I would stay here again if I ever visit this area again. I will recommend this hotel to my friends if they visit this area.

The hotel was great. The rooms were HUGE, and the service was wonderful. They served a variety of breakfast items and changed it up each morning. The hotel is very convienent to trolleys and other city attractions.

Took a family vacation and I choose this hotel since it has queen beds plus breakfast. From the moment we stepped out of the car we were treated to great hospitality. The door man Gary was a great man to give us pointers on where to eat. He even played with my 2 year old daughter and made her laugh.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with our 3 grandchildren, aged 7 - 15. The room was great, the staff friendly, the breakfast was good and different each day. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
