So sad to see how terrible the rooms in this hotel have gotten. I started going to the Arlington 45 years ago with my parents and have many fond memories from the grand hotel. This beautiful old historic building is a wonderful place to stop...More
As you walk into the Arlington you can tell a great deal of care has been taken in keeping the hotel looking like it is from the 20's. Check in was quick and easy and they still use metal keys to get into the rooms...More
The location and the city are fine. The hotel is historic and has some charm. The air conditioning is woefully inadequate making a summer stay totally unacceptable. The bell staff are rude and "force" you to use a bell person at least while first occupying...More

Hi. The Arlington is pretty much right across the street from the Grand Promenade Access. You exit the hotel through the main entrance and cross the street. Signs will guide you to the closest entrance to the Promenade. It runs parallel to Bath House Row. Yes, it is easy access.

I would recomment the Hotel Hot Springs about 2 blocks away. It has handicap accomodations. I don't recall seeing such accomodations at the Arlington, but recommend you calling if you prefer it. It's a great old hotel.
