A lovely hotel with european decoration. Location convenient for travellers, walking distance to Yilan Train Station and local bus station for 5 minutes and attached to a night market (just cross the street). Actually they have free shuttle service between train station and bus station. The front desk concierge can help you to serch for the travel info, Mr. Lei...

If you would like to stay near Yilan train station, this could be a convenient choice. Although room is spacious, the furnishing is basic and old. No complaint for an overnight stay for taking high speed train to Hualien the following morning. Breakfast is poor. Staff service can be improved.

The hotel has the Baroque architecture design for its appearance but rooms and other facilities are a bit old fashioned. Cleanliness is not good enough but staff service is very good, they are helpful and friendly and try their best to serve your need. Hotel situated in a convenient location which is just next to Dongmen Night Market and few...

If your need is a clean cheap room, this fits well. Other aspect is the location, just 3to 5 minutes walk from main railway station and in front of dong man night market. Bad part is breakfast, but Mc Donald and other eateries are just around the corner.

Good location but that’s about it The sound proof of my room was extremely bad, I could hear people talking and moving chairs in the restaurant just above my room Breakfast was a joke. First of all, breakfast was just in the area near the lobby, so there were not enough tables to fit in all guests (but this hotel...

The service really worth a 5 star, but the hardware of the hotel is unacceptable. All the staff in this hotel were friendly and helpful. From the time we parked the car, the staff came bring us umbrellas, and carried our luggage to the lobby for us. Very sweet of them. The location of the hotel is excellent too, very...

Though this hotel has been around for 20 years according to the staff over there, the stay is quite a pleasant one for a night at Yilan. Morning breakfast is quite standard nothing in Taiwan. Walking distance to Raohe night market, Yilan train station and Jimi Square.

It is located in between train station and night market. The location is fantastic! Front desk staff is in 5 star standard. They placed my stuff into the room which I left there a few hours before actual check in time. A lady also escorted me to the room. I didn't expect it with the price I paid for and...

The Grand Boss hotel is about 5 minutes walk from Yilan station, which we found to be super convenient. Staff were helpful bit speak little English- we booked via booking.com and the were no issues with check in / out. Really good value as the hotel and spacious rooms are pretty plush in an old world kind of way (1920s...

“Ask for a room in the NEWER West tower. (on your left-hand side if you are standing in front of the building's lobby). If they scratch their head and don't know what you're talking about just ask to see a room. From the exterior, you'll notice the building it's actually two separate buildings built at different times. It's more obvious from the interior. Rooms nearest the elevator are much newer than those farther east in the older section. Also ask for a room at the back of the building since the front faces a popular night market. The rooms AC fan hum will drown out most of the noise even if you have a street facing room. Also, ask to check out their Japanese style hotel rooms.”
